Been vaping since 2009 and have been basically using a KR808D1 model/variant all this time. A 30ml bottle and 2-3 cartomizers lasts me a month(28days at least). I love my gear, perfect balance of throat hit and vapor for me -- I was content. I get my fav 3 flavors and 2 boxes of cartos and I'm set for the next 3months

Now I just got my new gear, a blue iStick and an rda, made my 1st coil with 28g @ 1.9Ω and dripped the same ejuice I was using for my old setup and fired her up....WOW!!! Massive throat hit and vapor but too much air on the draw! A little too much for me so I dialed her down and used the smallest air intake on the RDA . Did this a few more times till I hit her minimum setting and yet still way better than my old! But still too airy for me... Even with my coil lag I can only take 3-4 sec lung draws, 2sec mouth-lung and I'm full - air vent still too big than what im used to.

But then, I felt dizzy then a hint of nausea hit me and felt cold... Thought it was me hyperventilating since I'm a mouth-lung vaper. But I just realized I've always ordered 36mg of ejiuce! My coil is vaporizing more nicotine than I'm used to 8-o!!! Took 1ml of my 36mg juice and diluted to 2ml of 18mg. Throat hit still a little too strong than what I'm used to so I think I can go lower. Silver lining to what might have been a bad situation I can stretch my juice even longer!

I'm loving my little powerhouse of vaping heaven! I named her "Lynae" - little blue flower :D

I have two iSticks, one I have currently sent back to the supplier because after 2 weeks use the 510 head seems to be stripped, waiting for them to get back to me, the other is still fine.

I don;t drip but using kanger style clearomisers with own build vertical coils I am getting a really great vape and loving it. I hope the threads hold out on this one !!

I have ordered some smok 510 air flow rings that I will put in to the iStick's when they arrive and leave them in so I don;t damage the threads any further.

Not trying to HJ the thread. I really enjoy my istick with mini nautilus tank, was curious how you rebuilt you BVC's. $15 for 5 heads seams kinda steep. I have an rda and a kayfun on the way, so may be mute point.

No problems with my threads yet, but I can see the risk.

Welcome to the club! I must say iStick set the new standard for portable sized box mod; I would like to see other vendors put our some similar sized mods in the near future.

Evape.us is a great source for Aspire tanks and coils. The Nautilus BVC coils are @9.95 a 5-pack and free ship with $25 order.

Yeah, 36 in an RDA, whew!! That would knock my socks off.

Yeah, she kicked me like a stallion on steroids! And the flavor! Oh man, tasted like I just got mouthful of candy(milk chocolate macadamia Nobacco juice). With my old gear(kr808d1 cart) I never thought the actual flavor is this good! Even after I diluted it in half the flavor is still awesome! Been vaping all day and the batt icon shows I've only used a third of the charge.

I don't use the aspire BVC as I use Kanger tanks. I have just posted a sort of tutorial on how I have rebuilt the new enclosed kanger heads to a vertical coil which would be similar to the aspire BVC

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ed-kanger-dual-coil-single-vertical-coil.html

Also riptripper as a you tube review on actually rebuilding the aspire BVC which is worth a look at just google it not hard to find.
