Im saving my money for Black Friday. I was going to get the istick but was worried about the threads being bad on them. I lost 2 Vamos due to stripped threads. Now with my Mvp I have used it for over a year and the threads are still great.

The threads on my iStick were a little rough the first couple of times I screwed an atomizer on and off. That's an issue with a lot of Chinese mods, at least the iStick and my Sigelei Zmax. Once you run an atomizer on and off a couple of times and chase the threads, the burrs get knocked off and the threads get smooth. I'm not worried about stripped threads on the iStick.

When I look at it with an eye loop I can see that the chromed brass threads look smooth and complete. There's no damage after a couple dozen or more times of installing and removing the Kayfun.

Absolutely worth it to me. I have one and will get another next month. I only used ego threaded toppers so use the adapter that comes with the istick. The threads on mine are smooth as silk so even if I used the 510 threaded devices I wouldn't think there would be a problem as long as they are taken care of. ie: do not cross thread, do not over tighten and keep the threads clean.

I picked up a couple 510 to ego adapters for just under $4 when MFS had free shipping. These also have a 510 thread in them so I just leave these adapters in my mods and use them for every thing, that way the wear and tear is on the $2 adapter and not to the threads in my mods. Sign up for emails from MFS, they have good sales all the time and free shipping comes up every so often. Now that I've had mine for a while I have to say that I think it's great. Using it with an Aspire Nautilus Mini with BVC coils I set it at three volts and get a great vape and seemingly infinite battery life. Great display, simple yet effective controls. Very handy form factor and the build quality seems solid. I'm very happy with it!
