Finally got my Riva in the mail today and it is charging right now, booklet says has to charge for 8 hours even if the light turns green before that. So, the attys are greasy and I'm guessing that's the primer I've heard people talk about. Whats the quickest and easiest way to clean that out of there so I can use it this evening?

hmmmm, I didn't give that oily stuff much thought, I just wiped it off, dripped on the atty and vaped... Knowing this now I'll clean the next one I open. Thanks for the Q&As.

I might have done the same but that stuff was like motor oil and I didn't even want to know how it tasted, had a few hours before the Riva charged so I figured I'd ask!

I got some atties from LF a few weeks ago and they were also extremely greasy/oily with primer. I tried the isopropyl alcohol drip clean, but that didn't take away the god awful taste left behind. Glad to hear about vinegar, but I can't stand the smell of it. Maybe I can just move the soak process outside then wash them in the sink.
