My friend got an SE kit the same time I did [3 1/2 months ago] and still likes it! I let him refill off my collection of liquid, and he seems to get something out of it. Could be refusal to admit he was suckered for $150, but I think there is a legitimate difference in the way we smoke.

He probably does like it. I think your friend and I lucked out and got working kits, from the rest of the replies I read here. :D

My SE cigs have been doing fine so far since I got them, and I figured out how to refill the cartridges. Basically removing the inner fiber material in the cartridge with a pair of tweezers, drop 3 or 4 drops of e-juice on the material, and reinsert it into the cartridge. Two cartridges and one battery lasts me pretty much all day. :)

But I am glad I found this forum though. Now I know where to get replacement parts or e-cigs cheaper if and when needed.

Can I fill their cartridges with ejuice or something? I can tell that the core of the smoking everywhere cartridges is fairly dry and I would like to just top em off. I don't see why that would be a bad idea. Almost more importantly though if i proceed to fill the cartridge will i get more vapor per puff??? Thats really all i want. I smoke because I enjoy blowing smoke rings and French inhaling and doing tricks. With the little amount of vapor i get now it is just impossible. Any ideas?

You can refill them

I find the cartridges included a little weak (even the high nicotine ones), so I bought a supply of juice from wetyourstick.com that seems to work quite well. After reading the horror stories so far in this thread, it makes me wonder if my initial investment was worth it, although I think I'm one of the luckier ones that got a decent setup. Tonight I had a problem with the atomizer, went to the mall to get a replacement, and the guy was ready to give me a new replacement at no charge. He then looked at my current atomizer and realized I was doing something wrong with the way I was loading the cartridge. He showed me how to properly load the e-liquid and how to prime the atomizer so it started working again so no replacement is needed. He even gave me a box high tobacco cartridges free for my troubles driving there.

So far over a week and a half and I'm still getting decent vapor and the batteries are lasting all day. So I guess I lucked out. I will be looking for an alternate backup e-cig in the next few days though.

Don't feel bad and stick to your SE kit. Just refill and be happy. Eventually, you'll have to buy some spare parts like Atomizer and all after the warranty period is over (if there's any) - just take advantage of plentiful internet shopping.

SE or Njoy or whatnot - stepping up to quit analog and start vaping = big win, no matter how you look at it. :)

Hello, also believe that this company is potentially liable for advertisement fraud; it may be possible to create a petition to get signed to help with these charges. I spend 150$ at a kiosk at a mall, and believe that this product does not sufficiently equate to the claim that each cartridge is equal to twenty cigarettes. I have started smoking cigarettes again and can do nothing more than blame the companies false advertisement. It is imperative that i do everything in my power to get a refund. But because the refund policy was states, i believe that this will potentially make it more difficult to get my money back. I did not pay credit however and so this will make it impossible for a credit dispute with my card carrier. A class action lawsuit is a possibility, but that will cost far too much money. It may be possible to sign a petition to limit the power that this company has and create a realistic dispute. Please contact me if there is any suggestion that anyone can offer to help me with my claim. I understand that many of us feel that there are disparities with illegitimate claim that the cigarette cartridge is equivalent to 20 cigs. If we want to pursue this, we must act on this immediately.

Several problems with a lolsuit:

1) It gives the FDA more ammunition to forge ahead with their ban
1a) Smoking Everywhere is actually fighting the FDA

2) Most everyone now who is hearing about e-cigs are seeing them in the malls. Sure, they are more expensive and yes, the cartridges do not last a full pack of cigarettes, but then again you'd be suing a lot of other manufacturers who sport the exact same claim.
3) Even if you buy the gold kit at $150.00, if you smoke a pack and a half to 2 packs a day, the kit pays for itself in less than 2 weeks. At the current price of analogs in some places, it may even be shorter than that.
4) You can refill the cartridges with e-Juice easily, which is readily available anywhere
5) Technically, it IS a pack equivilant (well, maybe 2/3rds of one), when you figure the average smoker of analogs take on average 10-15 puffs of a normal cigarette during a smoking period, and there are longer periods of not smoking (as opposed to vaping where you are doing this constantly during the course of the day). Rest of the time, the analog is either in your hand while chatting with someone or left burning in the ashtray. Reason being the other chemicals in analogs tend to irritate if you puff more so you tend to puff less. Since the vapor in e-cigs are not irritating, you tend to puff and "smoke" more (plus it's fun as hell making all that vapor). Try "vaping" an analog one right after the other, and we'll see how long you last. 8-o

As a two pack a day smoker, I originally went in e-cigs doing my thing like a normal cigarette. I found that two stock cartridges lasted 3/4 of the day.

While I do agree that it is a bit of a stretch to say that they last about as long as a pack of cigarettes, I don't tend to believe it is blatent false advertising. Under normal use using the same number of puffs per session like an analog, I'd say they lasted me for about the equivilant if 12-14 normal analogs. Since I learned how to load the e-Juice and get the atomizer ready (guy at the kiosk showed me yesterday), I find that I can get even more use from the cart and get more vapour.

I think a lawsuit is a bit hasty. If you went back to analogs so quick, maybe look around here to find better alternative for your particular situation. I know quitting those things is tough, but any e-cig, even ones made by Smoking Everywhere, make it much easier to quit analogs for good and save money while doing it.

Good luck.

My first e-sig was the SE gold too, but I paid $85 mail order. The claim of the cart being equal to 20 cigs is no big deal.

Best bet is to vape and enjoy and put it up to a lesson learned IMHO.

I think there is a tendency to give a negative slant to the SE cigs just because they cost so much. Granted, a blown atomizer can't be refuted, and I'm not calling anyone here a liar. It's just I've had the same experience as BigJim. Yes, I paid way too much for it, but the unit itself isn't bad at all. Do carts last 1 pack each? Oh hell no, and yes, this is a valid point of contention. I don't think there exists a cart for an e-cig that truly equals one pack. However, with DIY refilled carts, it'll give a good 3-5 analogs worth for me, and it's an excellent unit for dripping.

I'm not defending SE's marketing strategy at all, rather I'm suggesting that those of you who still have one that's under warranty take full advantage of the warranty and give it a chance. It's still better than smoking the real crap! And of course, if you're not strapped for cash, get a different unit to try out. As for me, I have a 901 serving as my primary vape, with the SE Gold 3.0/RN4081 serving as a reliable backup.

SE IMO is much like Starbucks vs. McDonald's coffee. I believe McDonalds has better tasting coffee than Starbucks, and it costs half of what Starbucks costs. Still, others are willing to pay that price because of the marketing image Starbucks has so successfully used. You can buy a Smoking Everywhere kit or you can buy a Dura for half the cost. Marketing is everything, and I applaud both Starucks and Smoking Everywhere for their success. Some people would not believe that the cheaper McDonald's coffee could possibly be better because McDonald's does not have an upscale mall image. Smoking Everywhere capitalizes on the mall image and the people who shop there and are more likely to impulse shop. Should other companies sprout up in malls rather than on the internet only, then SE will be forced to lower its prices to compete. They have a bold and brilliant strategy, just as Starbucks has. What we are seeing here is kind of a reverse snobbery about the SE product. Many have said that the SE is really a pretty good e cig, so why the criticism. Personally, I am not going to pay anymore than $60 for any e cig, just as I am not going to pay more than $2 for a cup of coffee on the go. On the other hand, I recognize the huge expense of selling at malls vs. running a web site and selling there, so the cost is not unjustified. Smoking Everywhere, additionally, has gotten the word out about e cigarettes, and for that alone, they should be congratulated, not condemned. They also have a long warranty vs. the extremely short ones of two weeks or less that many web-based companies offer. If you happen to get a kit that goes bad three weeks after you buy it and have to replace it a couple of times, you are into the same cost as the SE kit, and you STILL don't have a warranty. Long story short: I feel the criticism of SE is overdone and largely unfair.

I got the smoking everywhere gold edition. Same story as the rest of you really, with a twist. I went to the mall after seeing their site and liking the idea alot. (and of course memorizing the prices) I wanted to try it out before I went home and ordered one online, although if they would match the online price I was willing to purchase immediately. They let me try one of their "older version" which I enjoyed with only slight issues in technique. They didn't buy the matching the online price thing though, so I left. Went straight to ebay, then amazon.com and bought it online for 64 dollars new.

As for refilling, it looks like the cartriges have a little plastic straw area filled with cotton to hold the smoke juice. I would assume you could just drip it in for a bit and smoke away happily.

I too was a victum of the E cigerette (Smoking Everywhere), I bought mine at the Florida Mall in Orlando, Fl. I too was told that the filters would last as if it were a pack or more a day. I too went on line to try to find filters and never received them after ordering. I agree this is a mess, however if the blame thing would work it would be GREAT. Let us know what you find out, and or what you plan on doing. Thanks

Hmm...i figured out that caffeine spray can be used in conjunction with one of my dead cartridges to vape caffeine :D ....im feeling experimental tonight.

Wondering now what my next ecig will be. Looked at the 901, doesnt look appealing visually. I like how the SE gold looks similar to a regular cig, although i'm thinking i want my next one to have a blue or even better purple led and maybe black outline. How are those BLU cigs they advertise on these forums? Also can anyone think of one with a those characteristics for a low or fairly low price?
