Actually not embarrased but kind of dumbfounded soemthing so critical was missing. I am thinking they felt pressured and somehow the assembly was rushed...I still have not heard from them officially. The night we got these in, I hurried, got pics done, did the video and threw it up. The one I had in the video actually worked fine, then another one, then another on the smaller tanks and then I ran into on a 4th one what you experienced. You have to remember...I did not have these in hand when they were being tested...twas Chris a a few others so no lightbulbs went on...

I've been following the thread while out running errands. I'm glad it seems calmer now. It really didn't look like anyone meant to offend anyone else.

I had a lot of things to say but most of them got said!

I did look at the two vids and Lord Davon's had the tube and seal and Danno's didn't appear to. Though he didn't specifically show it. From playing with the hollow ones, I'd say the inner tube is necessary to create a proper vacuum. Without it there is no Bernoulli effect to create a low pressure zone and draw more juice into the wick.

Looks like Danno will get it sorted out. I'm sure he's embarrassed; but I had faith this would get sorted out. I had hoped others would have better luck but it sounds like they're all hollow.

Penguins definitely think everything tastes better with a seal on top!

All I have seen is the hollow tube with cup and wick and coil at bottom...I just double checked several boxes, same...

Can you take a pic of what you have? Do you mind?

Yap, that's how they look, see the coil, can see a tube and seal would prevent dry hits, i was stopping up the air hole. Is all you stock BOB with no tube/seal?

Sure give it a go....physically though the metal Phoenix are about 2mm longer than clearomizer Phoenix XL...

Okay, seals are serious business. srs. :p

Dan, I do have several metal posts and rubber seals from expired Phoenix BCs. Are these likely to be compatible? I'm gonna hazard a guess and say yes, just judging by the preview pictures.
