Nope, me too! I had more immigrant Chinese friends than American friends when I lived in Ohio, so Broken English is my second language!

And for the record, that was only meant to be funny, not mean and/or racist! I never make fun of anyone who speaks English as a second language poorly considering that I don't even speak a second language at all.

To clarify, I'm not deprecating the Oriental folks, I'm bemoaning the whooshing sound of $$$s leaving my piggy bank.

Straight American english is a 2nd language to me, many decades ago. Being 1/2 Lakota I grew up on The Rosebud and spoke a mix of Lakota and english as a kid. The nuns at St. Francis Indian Mission School would haul your a&& down the hall to the bathroom and wash your mouth out with LifeBuoy soap for speaking anything but english. I am an expert on the taste and fragrant "boquet" of post WW2 war surplus LifeBuoy soap, rulers on the knuckles and the Monseignor's paddle. I think the Sisters were the Little Sisters of Undying Retribution, the Priest administered my first flying lessons. Hmmmm, but I found out where he kept the wine, though. After that, who cares!
