This video is choking. Let's do this. Most of you or alot of you are getting your units tomorrow. I have found out that they INTENDED the unit to be this way. They never told us they were making such a radical change such as this, but they claim it works better this way. I won't go into what I told them, etc., not at this point That is a very brief summary of my meeting with them tonight.

So let's see. It seemed like kwc was doing pretty good with his unit. It seems like SolemnPenguin had an iffy experience. My experience also wound up in the iffy category. So lets see this through tomorrow night and see what a wider general consensus is. Go into it opened minded and give us your thoughts. This item should perform well, out-of-the-box, as it was when we tested it. This is what everyone bought into, so lets see.

You guys report back, then we move from there. Lets really see what everyone's experience is...

I know this isn't your fault at all, but at this point I have to conclude that this isn't the product I ordered.

Quite frankly, the people you're dealing with are full of crap, as they had plenty of opportunity to tell you if they were making a fundamental change in the product (which this is).

I'm not going to open or try mine at this point. I'll wait for a resolution one way or the other.

And if I were you, I'd be seriously considering rethinking whatever partnership you're about to announce with these guys and find some other manufacturer to work with for your partnership. This isn't a Raven, it's total bull.

Thanks for doing as much as you do. You shouldn't have to be running interference for a manufacturer that clearly did not deliver the product as promised.

Summary: I got mine yesterday and was getting pretty constant dry hits. I tried a couple quick fixes that I and others here could think of (don't fill it so much, prime it, take a draw or two without hitting the fire button) nothing seemed to fix it for more than a couple hits. KWCharlie had dry hits with higher VG but found PG to work "okay". (My juice was pretty thin, probably 70/30)

Then I recalled that Lord Davon's orriginal video showed that his had the top seal (where you put the needle through on the XL and 3ML versions of the Phoenix) and center post like the clearo's. Mine didn't. It was hollow like any other atty. Danno checked his inventory and all were like mine.

We all assumed that was a mistake from the factory. Danno contacted them and they said that hollow is how they're supposed to be and they should work fine. Danno told them that this was a pretty big unexpected change from the samples they had received.

Ok and maybe you should not reply to my post in such a rude manner . I'm a customer of gotvapes with concerns over something I spent my hard earned money on. Last I checked danno & Chris owned gotvapes not u my friend ! If my post irritates you , just ignore them , please!

Can we all take a deep breath and calm down, please? We're all a little bummed by this, Chris and Dan have got to be for sure. Most of us don't even have them in our hands yet, but should be receiving them today. So far we're only hearing from two people who received them. Danno has asked that we try and approach this with an open mind and try one when received and report back here. Having the opinions of many will help them decide how to approach the situation and what to do about it.

Most of us don't have money to burn, I sure don't. I live on SSI and I ordered a bunch of the cartos. Dan and Chris bend over backward trying to help resolve any issues we might have with any of their products, so that makes me want to try and help them on this in return.

So a manufacturer can make a major change to a product they are making for GV, and ship the changed product to GV, which GV paid them to make, then the manufacturer can just say "no we made it this way on purpose, this way is better... trust us"

Sounds like a load of BS.

They should make what you are paying them to make, not change things on there own and ship the product out with out even telling GV they made a major change to it. Why have test batches if they are just going to decide on there own to make a major change. Something is not right here.

As also a customer of GV's just like you... I can post what I think with the same rights that you have... And as mentioned Dan already covered the basics of your question which I see no reason to reword for him... it's best that you read what he posted directly.

I suspect we all were a little taken aback at the changes... hopefully the results that we end up getting will pan out for the good...

I know I changed up what supplies I normally bring with me to work so I can juice up a tankful and start testing it with some 80/20 PG/VG juice... I'll use the smaller 3.5ml so I can get a tankful in hopefully... I'll also cleanup one of the Phoenix XL's that I have at the house, fix the coil position ( which may have been causing my earlier issues with them ) and compare it to what the new tank carto's work like...

I receive mine today too. Bottom coil wick designs have had more failures than success imho. Must be a hard implementation to get to work good as compared to top coil. I notice the product is not offered on gotvapes anymore. At least I couldn't find it. Never the less, I'll look forward to trying it out today and just figured I'll bite the bullet if it doesn't perform well. There was lots of excitement about the potential of this new design (myself included) and it left little room to go on opinion of the product other than down hill. Maybe we'll learn a trick or two to improve it once people play with it a while. Let the modding being

This was precisely my reaction. What I bolded below was almost exactly what they said. I was..........furious. Everything else you stated was spot-on.

Let's see how this unfolds today. I have a shipping day ahead of me and many products to get up and also managing the Telescope refunds/returns/communications. But I will be checking in.
