lol silversix...I get my first two day postal holiday coming up labor day : )

after reading the last pages of this thread i think daniel should just take a break and kick back for a weekend.. post a sticky or something about this and i'm sure all the early adopters will be cool with it as long as it's now known and taken to the manufacturers..

Well for what its worth, if it means you guys taking another hit for us not returning, I don't want a credit issued, put it toward your costs, is good enough for me. You help us, I'll help you. No credit issue please

New development.....been gone all afternoon....came home and tried the Raven again. Have it on my Provari......got a couple of decent hits after blowing in it...and now it is kicking off an E1 error on the Provari. Not exactly sure what that means...have never seen it before.

Ah, the dreaded "SHORT CIRCUIT" (below)! It's probably the second - a shorted "atomizer" (actually, the cartomizer). Screw in another cartomizer, atomizer, etc and hopefully that one will be OK. Also check the connection for leakage from the cartomizer you were using.
E1 – Short Circuit / Shorted Atomizer – If this error appears, remove the atomizer and replace with a different one
or lower your voltage settings. The ProVari will automatically reset when the problem is fixed.
Luck, B.

Honest question here....About a month ago I ordered a sleeved 3ml phoenix. What I got was not the original design. It had been changed. Dan commented as such in a thread about them. I do not like the current version at all and did not get a chance to try the original. If you go to the Gotvapes site, it still pictures the original and shows the original in the video posted on the product page. There is no mention of a design change. I did not get what I paid for in that instance. It is not what I anxiously waited for since they were out of stock when I first decided I wanted to purchase one. My Phoenix has a sleeve that doesn't stay on and is so airy I might as well be vaping through a straw. The situation is different because it was not the newest and greatest product and there were not floods of complaints, but if we're talking about changing a product and selling it someone without telling them isn't it really the same thing??????

ANYONE tried taking the tube off without destroying it like i did? It's a nice cup/wick/coil and none are too far down, if that tube could be rotated and moved up/down on the ring the hole could be adjusted. From the shape of it, and being 2/3 covered by the ring, looks like that's what they were thinking but then pressed it all together so it can't be moved

I'm working on punching the inner part out of the tube without destroying anything but it's pressed in with some force. Is everything in the tube just one piece? The inner tube that holds the coil seems to be fairly heavy metal, is it same thickness from the top to the threaded end?

Dan, thanks so much for being so open with us about this thing. I just want to repeat that this is *not*, in any way, shape or form, your fault. Please take care of yourself. We can all do without the Raven - doing without you and Chris is another matter entirely.

Plus about a hundred times on what Briar has so eloquently said. And I wanted to emphasize that last paragraph.

No, I just figured it was another disappointing clearo and tossed it to the side. Gotvapes has a clear DOA refund policy on cartos and asks customers to send them back when there are issues, a reasonable and understandable policy. It just struck me as odd when I held off buying the Raven until I saw reviews and came on here tonight to read what I have. There is extensive discussion about the Raven changes while hundreds of 3ml tanks were sent out altered. I suppose in light of this, I may submit a ticket.

With all the hype and waiting I cant believe this thing isn't right. I did ask Bad, after he said he would post a video of chain gaping the raven, where it was. Did that video ever show?

These came to Houston so Bad probably didn't have time to receive a production version to make the video.

Well as I said earlier I so what the Raven to work!! I took the top seal from BC and cut the top off the center stem and placed both into the carto of the Raven, not the best fit but definitely helped!!!! working much better. Still occasional dry hit but is much more useable than it was. Maybe someone can work up a better fix based on this, will continue to work myself. Maybe this should have been placed in the advanced cat on the store lol, definitely need to know what you are doing

Actually this was a long time ago, when he had the test unit and was saying it was incredible. He said he was going to post a video of himself go through a full tank. It was to be shown then. I kind of thought something was amiss when he was so loving it then went dark for a while about it. Then the delays and now we are here.
