I ordered a Splitfire tank and 3 replacement heads from Gotvapes. So far so good.

I received them in a timely manner. Still good.

I did not use the tank immediately. When I did use it I found it acceptable. No big problems. Refilled it a few times and everything was OK.

Now when it needed to be cleaned the big problems started. I took it apart to clean it. I took one of the replacement heads and tried to insert it into the unit. Big problem. It is advertised to be easy to replace as there are shoelace type thingies on each wick so that insertion is easy. Not so. I even used tweezers and could not get the wicks through the holes. I tried each of the replacement heads with no success. Forget trying to put the original one back in.

I was infuriated. Apparently these guys did not check the unit for accuracy according to their advertisement. I sent a very negative review of the unit and its replacement heads on the Gotvapes website and also stated that the unit was now useless and I wanted my money back.

I am now banned from my Gotvapes account.

I spent the money for products that they apparently did not adequately test. I tested them and found them to be definitely not as advertised and wasted my money.

BEWARE!!!

There are other companies out there so their banning me from my account does not stop me from getting supplies elsewhere. It's just the fact that they do business this way is a big problem.

To be sure, if you order from them taking their word that the product will be as advertised and it is not and you complain, they will just ban you and not post your review.

Hi ProsperityGal, it is rare that we ban anyone so not sure what may have happened as I don't know your name.

As far as the SplitFire system: it is actually a VERY popular system and is used by hundreds and hundreds attested by our ongoing sales of them. We have had no widespread issues being reported in inserting the 4 wick leads into the holes. They do have shoelace style enclosures on the end for that initial install. After the initial install you may have more difficulty but there are many tips shared on our subforum here and everyone who buys these usually share their experiences. None of the tips require any major modding or anything. Some rewap the ends if they have cleaned the wicks and are reinserting (some have used a touch of tape or saran wrap, foil etc.)

If you have enjoyed using these I urge you to press past some of the difficulty you have had with doing a re-insert. Visit our forum, hundreds of helpful souls there to share tips and the such.

Thank you for such a quick response, however, I have found another supplier.

I went to your website to order 10 replacement heads for the vivi nova today as I have found that to be a great unit. When I went to checkout my login was refused. I thought that I made a mistake with my password and tried again. Again it was refused. I then clicked the part that asks if I forgot my password. In a few minutes I got a new password in my email box. I entered the new password and was again refused.

I have never been banned and this is unacceptable to me. I was willing to continue buying from you even though I had a bad experience and received no response. I was never notified that I was no longer able to use my account. This is very bad.

I am replying just to let you know that I will no longer be ordering from you. Your response is appreciated but the damage has already been done. I need my nicotine and my tanks and do not have the time to dilly dally with vendors.

Bans rarely occur, usually only after an account has been tagged for suspicious activity as far as credit card fraud. The fact that you got a new log in password or account tells me something must be going wrong with the system. If you can give me your info in PMs I can check into it.

I will not give you any other information.

I already stated that I have found another vendor.

I am a programmer and know that you have a database and can search said database. You can do a search just using the information in my profile stating the city in which I live. You already have my email address from your website database and can find out recent bans of members.

To insinuate that there is credit card fraud is an attack on me personally. I have made several purchases from you and never has there been a problem. I have excellent credit and am insulted by the reference in your response as to the only reason for banning an account is because of fraud.

I do not accept your "effort" in resolving this problem as I have done nothing wrong and have never caused a problem. My credit is beyond reproach and the mere suggestion that fraud may be involved with my account is irresponsible and .inflamitory. Nice touch on your part to give the impression that you are pristine and have no idea what happened.

I will not go offline and continue through PMs with you. I am done.

PropserityGal, I do not know who you are by your ECF handle. How can I check if you had submitted a ticket? How can I find out what the circumstances are so we can invesitgate? I have tried to be accomodating to you here and yet you still come off cranky : )

And no we arent accusing you of credit card fraud. I was saying that usually the only way someone is banned is because of credit card fraud. There are occassions though that if a customer is extremely aggressive and unreasonable in a ticket we will ban them. By your tone here I think this may be the case with you? We have many reasonable customers we would rather give our precious and limited time and resources.

But of course, I cannot be sure as you are not telling me who you are. I mean for all we know this could all be made up. I think if a poster does not reveal who they are in PMs to the 'offending' vendor the review should be ABSOLUTELY deleted. I am suspicious of this with you as I have reasonably asked you this twice and yet you refuse and not only refuse but have ill temperment about it.

Anyway I am happy you found another vendor. Not so sure I am so happy for that other vendor though :)
