Ok. So here is the main difference between the provari and most other vv devices. The power is regulated in vv devices by pulse width modulation. What this means is that to drop a voltage down, instead of using a variable resistor and making much heat and wasted energy, the voltage instead is switched on and off very quickly. so if you have a voltage of 5 volts, and want to regulate down to say 2.5, the "switch" would be turning off and on with the off time equaling the on time, effectively cutting power by half. The Provari does this much quicker than most mods, thus a smoother vape. Some other mods do this at a slower rate, which makes a rattlesnake type of vape.

i just got some more in the other day, it seems to really only double in color shade after like 3 months. i know it's good fresh, but it probably becomes a bit more pronounced with some age.

How are you so plugged in to these? When you order from places do you subscribe to their e-mails? I usually do but I think a lot get auto-filtered by my e-mail program and end up in the spam folder. Without your posts I'd miss many of the sales.

I get some in emails-I try to subscribe to newsletters of places i like or want to try
I have facebook and I add various places to an "interest list" instead of "liking" them, then I go and take a quick scroll through my interest list
I take a quick scroll through the first page of reddit's ecig forum under the "hot" tab
I take a quick scroll through the "vendors" section of reddit's ecig forum
(a lot of vendors are more active on reddit than on here)
so that's it really-it doesn't take very long to do this daily-it's become a habit
MadVapes is on there. Eesh...I suggest stay away from them. Or if you get any of their juices. Vape them quickly.
They are just not good. Cheaper than most but for a reason.

New toys: KFL+ and a KFL+ black, Protank2, Trident V2 clone and just ordered the Clouper Hana clone
Juice: Lazarus Vintage. Customer Service, well there were no issues with shipment or anything so nothing to speak of other than the plain flat rate box the juice came in. No special treatment, no notes saying thanks for your order etc. and it's not like I expect it but everyone else I've ordered from has at least said "Thanks" and with the premium you pay for their juice you would think there would be something to make them stand out besides their juice.
I've also ordered a third round from The Plume Room. 30ml of last weeks FOTW Lemon Chiffon Pie, this weeks FOTW Magical Melon Medley along with 60ml of Banana Mint Milkshake and 60ml of Candy and Burley.
Journey - Rolled in cognac and glazed with but.ter.milk, this warm and sweet fla.vor is reserved for only the most exclu.sive cig.ars of the world. I only know this because I research it, I have a sensitivity to thumping music. Just sets me on edge. Makes me feel insane and makes my blood boil. I read up on it a
lot.
Everyone says that the blemished Provaris are never really noticeably blemished. Their QC standards are high. I would have gotten one myself but when I finally decided to treat myself to it there were none available in any of the finishes that I wanted. Unless you're going to keep it in a display case, the sorts of blemishes it will have are probably less than what daily use could do to it..that's how I see it, anyhow. I haven't caught up to the end of the thread (as usual) but it sounds like you really want one and I vote for do it. =)
Also if you want to ever read or hear the science of why Provaris vapes are superior, I remembered that it's something to do with "pulse width modulation". +1 for Phil Busardo. I've gotten a ton of really helpful information from him over the years, more than anyone else who does similar stuff.
I covet that gold so much, which is silly as all get out. None of my drippers/devices/tanks would really look right with it but man..it's so pretty. It was out of stock for ages which made me so happy..then the other day I heard it was back..oh no! Gotta pay for prom and graduation for my last baby and I want an expensive German Cuckoo clock..hopefully it will be gone by the time I have enough (kind of) money to buy one!
Not to argue but I have the polished stainless and I treat it like a dog..but it never has fingerprints. I don't know why not..I just know it doesn't, and it definitely should. It's really a nice looking device. =)

Deadly Sin is one of my must have vapes. It's what I turn to when I want something SWEET. I love it right out of the mailbox, though a week or two makes it maybe a teeny tinch better. While I wouldn't call it a true reverse steeper, I've found that I don't care for it
aged too long. I was buying the huge bottles of it and it just wasn't as good towards the bottom- like a lot other bakery type and cinnamon vapes I feel like it gets sort of funky with too much time. It may also not have helped to leave it in the large plastic bottles it came in - in any case I buy smaller bottles more often now, problem solved. =)
