I am currently enjoying some tobacco's too. Love Burley and Candy by TPR (you do not really taste candy, just sweetness) Love Pendragon and Virginia Flake from MOV, Love Shipwreck by AHl

Congrats!!! I hope you love it. I've had mine for about a month now and am so glad I bought it. Money well spent IMO

TOO much of a kick for me. I wasn't a huge fan of the spiciness...but it definitely is unique and true to it's description.

Funny, I was the same way about tobaccos when I started vaping. I got Dragon Fire also about a week ago and I blew right through it. Now I'm not sure what tobacco to try next!! Any suggestions?

I was just kidding. I do think eventually I will get a REO in the classies when I find a good deal, just to see what it's like. I just know that I'll use a VV device more and I need to get better with dripping before I try a REO. I'm thinking that if my dad actually does do vaping that he would like a REO. The only thing is that he's not interested in building coils at all. So I would be doing all that for him.

Set him up with a Reo and some 510 dripping atties or cartos. Sqounking without having to wrap coils. Just make sure not to get the sealed ones.

Yeah that's what I get from the Burley and Candy too, just a sweetness, but nothing specific. I really like it though. I'm glad I decided to give it a try after the recommendations on here. And I really, really like Shipwreck! I was so dead set against tobaccos until friends on here convinced me otherwise and made it possible for me to try some of them! Glad I listened!

Depends on which atomizer I'm rocking, but warm. I don't care to burn my respiratory system, but I like a wet, dense vape.

I swore by twisted. These twisted coils with flat ribbon are superior. Just as easy to coil.

I've been interested in ribbon wire but considering that everyone that likes it likes warm/hot vapes, I think I'll pass.

I don't have money to get him one right now... And I want to make sure that he plans on sticking to vaping before I invest that much into it AGAIN. Last venture I spent over $100 trying to get him to convert, only to have him barely even try it. He's very stubborn.

See I do..I got powdery candy like fun dip or smarties and tobacco. Its well steeped now I may go back and try it again since I haven't moved it along yet. I was at the end of my shipwreck and Smooth Criminal and mixed them, that was pretty good too!

ditto. I still think that's my issue with the rm2 everything I put in it fruit wise tastes like hot fruit. blech.

I think older people often have a harder time converting though not always. My mom took right to it but she is also still smoking too. She is vaping about 0% of the time though so still a major improvement, even she admitted the other day that she is saving 2 cartons of cigs a month and can walk down the driveway without dying.....my work here is nearly complete muahahaha
now if I can get the husband to do the same. He has a bad vape day and picks up a pack. His dad would not quit he literally smoked himself to death and I worry because he acts the same way. He never really gives any of it a real go. a week or two at most of patches now has excellent equipment and still back and forth. Anybody wanna buy a VTR or 134 cuz he aint using them!

My dad's not that old though. He's like 49 and knows more about computers and technology in general than I do. So there's no "old card" that he can play. He's just lazy. In his own words he just lights a cigarette and there it is. Fiddling with all this stuff is much more difficult... So vaping needs to be not that much more of a hassle than smoking for him to want to do it.
He's quit smoking 2 other times before. The first time, I think he picked it back up just because of stress. This last time he picked it back up because his wife had the brilliant idea that if she started smoking again, she'd lose weight. (she ended up gaining weight, dumb A) I was so mad when I heard she was starting again but she had quit for a good 10 years and I knew once she started, my dad would. Living with someone who smokes is too much temptation. My dad doesn't deal with that well.

I did two bottles of DIY today to try to get back in the habit. (and I've been wanting to mix up some more Hypnoba for a while now) It won't be too long for the Hypnoba to be ready but the other was a tobacco so... It'll be waiting. I've never done this mixture so it'll be interesting to see how it turns out. I used 10% of the tobacco extraction I did, 15 drops of Royal (Flavour Art) and 5 drops of Vape Wizard. (yes I do drops for super concentrated flavors) It was 30 ML so I hope it turns out good. Honestly, I don't see how it could be that bad. Royal is great and not too overwhelming of a flavor. I also didn't use too much. (I usually do 1% but what I used was probably more like 0.5% or less) The vape wizard just helps with blending/steeping. No flavor. (at least not at low percentages)

ugh now somebody puts it up lol. Soooo its early yes but nearly the end of my workweek and I am actually quite happy with my REO this morning. I actually managed to get at a good ohmage for the juice I put in. I tried this juice in it before and it didn't taste right. I still prefer it in a tank but nets just tear up regular coils quick. So this seems to be a happy middle ground until I try maybe another ohm or so down. It is at 1.4 ohms. so it seems like I am going to have to find the sweet spot for each juice. Now that kinda sucks but maybe with time I will be able to guesstimate better. Have a great Tuesday guys! I love that when everyone is groaning on Monday morning its essentially my humpday and when everyone is starting to cheer up because its humpday its the end of my workweek. The money sucks but the hours (if I can stand the job) will be great over the summer for the family

I doubt AHL uses any flavors with diacetyl..anyone know for sure?

No they do not. From their FAQ

AHL is one vendor, based on their own inhouse testing processes, I feel are "safe", or as safe as vaping can be.

INGREDIENTS

We strive to keep our mixes as clean, and clear as possible. Our e-liquids do not contain artificial colors, gum acacia, xantham gum, citric acid, diacetyl, Acetoin, Acetyl Propionil, or caffeine.

COMMON INGREDIENTS

Flavorings: Certified Organic, Natural, and/or Artificial. All flavorings, whether created by Ahlusion or not are routinely tested and certified by an outside laboratory for chemical analysis. All flavorings used by Ahlusion are FDA approved, although not specifically for inhalation; however, through testing we are able to prevent commonly known harmful components (such as Diacetyl) from entering our production stream.

Nicotine, Propylene Glycol, and Vegetable Glycerine: We source for the highest quality, cleanest, clearest, and most tasteless nicotine to use in our mixes, all sourced from U.S. manufacturers. Our nicotine is 99.6% pure, meets EU 6.0 Medical Grade Standards, is clean, clear, and potent. Our Propylene Glycol (PG) is USP, food grade, and Kosher. Our Vegetable Glycerin (VG) is USP, food grade, and Kosher.

VG/PG MIXES

ALL VG Blends: Distilled Water, USP grade Vegetable Glycerin, Flavorings, Ethyl Alcohol, and Nicotine.

VG/PG Mixed Blends: Distilled Water, USP grade Vegetable Glycerin, USP grade Propylene Glycol, Flavorings, Ethyl Alcohol, and Nicotine. We are generally able to go up to a 30/70 VG/PG mix on most e-liquids, but are currently unable to mix at higher PG levels as most of our flavorings are VG based. In the future and as we make advances in our flavoring production, we will be able to use pure, undiluted flavorings in our e-liquids. This will allow for more control over our resulting VG/PG mixes.

PG/VG Mix notes: Higher PG mixes tend to produce less vapor, but more flavor and an increased throat hit. Higher VG mixes produce more vapor, but tend to mute flavors and throat hit. Our common recommendation is to have an even VG/PG mix (50/50) with some exceptions. We base our recommendations on using Low Resistance atomizers (1.5 - 1.8 ohm) and standard 3.7v devices (not including ecig kits such as eGo's, and 510s). Contact us if you have any questions or would like to fine tune your recommendations.

Propylene Glycol Allergies: A few individuals have shown sensitivity to PG. Our recommendation is to not use any of our products until you have consulted with your medical provider. We cannot be responsible for any reactions any individual may have.

Extra Flavor Option: The extra flavor option is an increased percentage of the original recipe added in. Please be aware this will change the intended flavor and feel! The extra flavor option is no longer available on all e-liquids and we've put an extra charge on it as well. The main reason is that some individuals automatically assume that this is the best option (before even trying them or contacting us) while this is usually not the case. The extra cost is also only recommended for larger (30 and 60 ml) bottles. Exra flavor options are only recommended if you have previously tried certain e-liquids and would like to have it stronger; again, please contact us first before ordering so we can help fine tune your e-liquids before ordering.

TOBACCO BLENDS

Aromatic Tobacco Blends: Also referred to Premium Blends, are made in house, extracted through various methods from additive free natural or certified organic tobacco. The strength of the finished flavoring is slightly different for each batch, so there may be slight variations to the strength of the finished product. Every recipe is tested and adjusted for each batch to make it as close to the original control as possible.

Non Aromatic Blends: These also contain extracts of additive free natural or certified organic tobacco, but may also contain commercially available tobacco flavoring.

ABOUT OUR NICOTINE

Our main supplier for L-Nicotine is Alchem International, a manufacturer we trust for their remarkable accuracy and batch testing of their products. Alchem International's nicotine quality exceeds USP standards. Every new batch we receive is again tested either through GC/MS and acid/base titration when GC/MS is not available.

BOTTLING AND LABELING

Each and every bottle that leaves our mixing area has a batch and/or control number on the label. All data (ingredients/components -including their individual batch numbers-, date/time mixed, lab technician's name) is contained within this batch number. The batch number for custom e-liquids is generally the same as the order number. This data is preserved for historical purposes and quality control. All bottles are sealed and packaged before shipping.

Please note that we cannot control the consistency or quality of unsealed/opened Ahlusion products not purchased directly from an authorized Ahlusion store or vendor. If you have questions about a particular bottle of e-liquid, please use our support form and include the batch number found on the label.
