I'm still loving my Lavender Ever After w/ extra flavoring... The extra flavoring really does help. It no longer needs an additional flavor added. (I had to add Call me Vanilla the last time) So I don't know if it's the extra flavoring and/or the fact that I did not heat steep it... but it's better. Not that the other batch was "bad". This is just better.
I also have Blue Jazzberry from Vapor Chef in my Faifun. (Fake Taifun) or Claifun (Clone... lol) I am REALLY trying to vape through of a lot of what I have before buying more juices. That's why I am trying to get swaps going. That way I'm not spending any more money but get to try some different juices. (and the other person can do that same)

And my DIY stuff is going to be a minute before it's steeped. (they'll all tobaccos) The only non-tab is the Hypnoba blend which is officially a week old today so it should be pretty good to go.

He smoked Malboro reds... He likes the strong stuff.. But thank you for thinking of him/me. I was the one who smoked the lights... I am trying to find DIY stuff for him as 98% of the juice I let him try, he doesn't like... Then it's just wasted. I don't have the money for that.
The last time I asked him about it (starting to vape again) he said he still needed to make the Dr's appointment. (he wants to get put on an anti-depressant in conjunction with quitting smoking) So basically more excuses. Unless his wife starts vaping, it's likely he won't. It's very frustrating. My grandma wasn't NEARLY as difficult.
I believe it was "Boomerdude" who made a blend he called Hypnoba... It's a blend using TFA Hypnotic (citrus liquor) and Oba Oba (Flavour Art) His recipe called for brown sugar flavoring... but I don't use it... as I don't like it. So I altered mine slightly but would feel wrong to act like it's "my recipe" when it's really a version of his. I didn't think of it. It's the only DIY that I've made that I REALLY like... and it's pretty simple.
I use Hypnotic, Oba Oba, equal parts. (5%) Then I add 1% marshmallow... I was putting 1% sweetener but on this last batch I left it out and added a couple drops of NaCL to see if it makes a difference. We shall see.
It basically tastes like a vanilla, slightly citrus blend... It's hard to describe but really good. I sent Jonathon some for his GF as she vapes no NIC. I believe he said they liked it.
I'm really thinking about trying DIY. I never thought I would but I'm moving to a bigger place and will have much more free time on my hands after the kids get back to school in the fall. So much cheaper if I can come close enough to some flavors I love. Then I can just splurge on occasion.
maybe zyban would be good since it works on dopamine as well allegedly making you not want to smoke (but if he drinks at all it can make alcohol have a strong effect)
DIY is cool. Just be sure to WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN! And mark the bottles when you mix them. Don't think you'll be able to figure it out by the smell because that's not necessarily the case. I would also recommend starting with simple 1 flavor mixtures, then graduate to recipes that you find on here. I tried mixing my own concoctions, thinking it's easy.. You just put a little of this and that... and it'll taste right. NoT! It seems simple but the multi-flavored recipes are a B! I also recommend using concentrated flavors.

I tried Zyban years ago and it mostly ticked me off because it made cigarettes taste like cotton. If it makes napping unpleasant, it would probably not leave him very happy!
Thanks. I will need to do a lot of reading! I already write things down. My memory is awful. I have lots of bottles here I've put stuff in and forgot what it is. I just smell for compatibility sometimes and hope for the best.

So my kayfun clone has been put up for awhile now because it leaks. Talked to some people about it and got some advice. I unsealed the fill hole and actually filled it the way it supposed to be, did a tiny something different with the wick and so far so good haven't had a leak or a seep or anything. Im actually trying to make it leak or seep so I can try again to fix it and of course it wont. I think I am about to break out a dripper and try this new Vanilla tobacco I just got (3 van tobaccos in one night a little much nah) just to try it out I know its too knew to be ready. I think I told everyone I had an excellent customer service experience with Ahlusion about my not right 30ml of Lime Cream they sent me a replacement I actually got the replacement before the order I had placed before I emailed them. Really impressed considering I have heard they can be impolite at times, my personal experience was quite pleasant.
I wish I could diy! Now that my vape budget is so low I cant even buy more diy stuff to try again with tobaccos without cutting myself short. I have at least 2 bottles that need to be replaced that I am low on and need long steeps now so I am trying to go easy on them, one of them I dumped the rest of what I had of 6ml in with the 12 to make it look like I have more. 9mg is really more my preferred mg but very hard to find places that do special nic AiV does if anyone needs somewhere that will step down more slowly

There's a learning curve Cranky but you are very smart so I see you having no problems at all with DIY.
I DIY but mine never comes out as good as some shops blends. Well you tried the only good one I ever did. That Signature Sirius. Good stuff imo.
I find myself using protanks less and less and kayfuns more and more....I love mine. I think I'll buy one more for the hana clone when it comes in. I just popped a new chimney coil in the second one @ 0.9 ohms and it hits great....great flavor, clouds and all.

I have exactly one decent one but it still needs work I gave up on it awhile ago. I should go back to it so I at least have one. Its a good mint so it would be great for hot days outside in my summer mod. I am looking at pics of setups drooling lol. If anybody wants to show pics of thiers I would love to see them. I am trying to get an idea of what some of the mechs and toppers look like together. I don't really care that much but if its pleasing to the eye its a bonus. I run around now with all my toppers having a gap on my mvp unless I adjust the ring which I don't bother to most of the time. I guess Im lucky I can at least close the gap if I want. I have seen people who don't have adjustable connections and have constant gaps. so I know I am looking for an adjustable 510 connection and a reverse threaded locking ring and be able to run in 18650 mode (with a kick would be even better) . Those things are a must as of right now the rest is negotiable
I was having trouble with mine leaking but so far tonight its been used and layed on its side and not babied for 5 hours so far so good. I love it except the leaks. Id like to see some more mech and rba pics
