I didn't, that's really neat! My own personal beliefs is that we can't get cancer if we believe we are healthy and won't get cancer. I tune to a more esoteric approach to spirituality and health. Not quite mind over matter but spirit over matter.

That's because you are still young. Try to out-think your body and it will play great jokes on ya. Ask me I know! bwahahaha :D

I have to agree with both of you because I'm not entirely sure I'm here at all at this point. I blame this on Michio Kaku, fringe physics, localized abnormalities, and watching the 9th Configuration one too many times.

That's the way that my doctor works, I'm tested upon demand & it the lab results aren't right, I'm outta luck. Few doctors around here does pain management & the ones that does are always skeptical. They have to be, it's through patients that many of these high demand narcotics are on the streets.

My failed four level lumbar fusion was in May 2006 & worked through severe pain for a year before then. My doctor wouldn't refer me to a spinal surgeon until the pain went shooting through my right hip & leg, which put me out of work. Honestly. I thought something was wrong with that right hip/leg, but MRI's showed the cyatic nerve being pinched & most of my lumbar discs were shot, a couple were rubbing bone.

It is terrible, but I'm thankful for what medicine that I do get, as it does provide relief from crippling pain. Nerve pain is very hard to control, plus some of the implants themselves are also part of today's issues.

My recommendation to anyone, surgery should be the last option for back pain & normally isn't done by reputable spine surgeons, unless there's pain/numbness in the limbs.

This illness, caused by osteoarthritis, has wrecked my life in many ways. I can no longer go vistiing friends like prior, all of them are gone now. They did come to see me at first, but the conversation always turned into "do you have an extra Percocet?" or other pill. They weren't my friends after all. One of my family members tried to steal medicine from me, that's so rotten & dirty & I know that it happens to others. It takes a sorry soul to steal a family members (or anyone's) medicine needed to relieve pain.

I'm so glad for ECF & other forums where I participate (mostly computer/tech related), my friends on the forums are all that I have, several great ones that I otherwise wouldn't have met.

I have had many family members steal both my pain medication, my grandson ADD medication, My anti-depressants. I finally bought a safe to put in the closet that locks in the bedroom that locks and PHEW hoping I am safe from the low down thiefs. it really does just make you sick when a loved one does that.

It's best to be safe. I don't lock up my meds though as my brother ( retired cop) and nephews and nieces are the only people that regularly roam my house. My nephews are straight up as 6 o'clock. Nieces too. I'm the black sheep I recon having been among the 70's culture, I did my share of experimenting. Just my luck nothing grabbed me by my ....

Mo has she tried the injections? They do not take away all the pain but not even pills do that for me. Besides the more you let them put you on the less pills work. I'm sorry for your wife's condition bro. Condolences to her. :(

She has had the maximum number of lumbar blocks allowed I don't think she can have another for 3 years. They never really worked for her as her disc are so damaged they don't retain the fluid. She keeps on keeping on though and has a damn good attitude about life in general so I think that helps. .

She had a spinal stimulater installed and has the morphine pump and that seems to have helped. It took a long time to find a doctor who would even touch her because her back is so screwed up. She is a trooper without a doubt.

Thinking about checking out another vape shop tonight for juice. Met the owner at the vape meet last week. Actually seems like someone who knows something about vaping, compared to the other shops in my area. They seem to carry more mid to high tier juices than any of the other ones.

they are opening a second shop that is a little closer to me July 1st so that should be nice

So I rebuilt my computer this AM while yall chatted away, lol. New video card, new cpu heatsink too, a big giant one. My cpu runs about 5 degrees above room temp now, lol. Had to take the motherboard out to install heatsink brackets, that kinda irked me. I put a gigabyte made nvidia gt 630 in. I dont game, but I like to stream on my main box since the other is now my gf's , lol. Noticeable difference in pic quality. I've been getting the itch to do another ground up build lately... Wouldnt it be nice to have about 3k sittin around to build a monster of a pc, lmao. Got my ahl order in just now. Apple wildwood, caramel wildwood, peach wildwood.. All 30mls, but I forgot to order a sample, so of course I didnt get one. That irks me a bit about ahl, I like how other companies force you to try flavors that you wouldnt otherwise, lol. Thats how I stumbled across several from tpr. I think all other juice companies should model their business off of TPR..

You can't muck up my belief system. I made it to 40 with no broken bones, no cavities, no diseases. And that's the trick for me: my belief system. I can "tell" myself whatever I want to tell it, but I have to believe it deep down or it's just a lie. Hard to explain.
