checked out the ahlusion site for the first time in a while

idk guys. i get turned off from manufacturers that have all those options for choosing your flavor. ratio, flavor shots. seems like a crap-shoot for me. im not saying their juice is bad, but i see good juice as a painstaking recipe that's crafted and tested over a long period of time. changing something like the ratio is going to change up the flavor.

it's like cooking and instead of adding a teaspoon of salt, you add in a tablespoon. your cake isn't going to come out right.

It's definitely an overwhelming site which is why I avoided it for awhile.

I haven't had luck with them thus far but it was before I got my profile changed to extra flavor and could just be the flavors I got. I do still want to try Boba Tea and that Blueberry Vanilla cake... Just will have to wait til I vape down the juices I already have. After my device purchase, I don't feel right spending money on more juice when I have so much sitting here. I can wait.

Okay sooo I'm writing a cause/effect essay for my summer english class...due tomorrow...whoops! Anywho I'm doing the causes of people switching to e-cigs and I want to do 3 effects: Harm Reduction/Smoking Cessation, Health Benefits...and I can't think of a good third effect. Cost? Ehhh...I'm drawing a blank. This is why I need to do these things first thing in the morning

Hmmm....you do not really think those mass marketed 'Suicide Bunny' type things have somebody painstakingly crafting a recipe do you? I read a want ad on craigslist in CA for someone that knew how to mix Ejuice. There is not a chef behind much of any of that stuff.
BTW I think you are thinking of MBV with the xtra flavor shots

I get what he's saying. Doing DIY, I can tell you from experience that the flavor changes when you mess with the PG/VG ratio. So if these creators are testing their flavors at say 50/50, it tastes great to them... But you have Bob over here buying it at 70vg/30 pg and it tastes awful. Some recipes shouldn't be messed with... But that's why a recommended ratio is important (which all do not have) That way if someone STILL wishes to alter it, that's on them when it doesn't taste that good.

I would absolutely do cost. You would have some facts to base it on.

well, i am told by a few people that my hair and skin look nicer since i quit smoking, skin is brighter, hair less dry, i imagine i smell better and have fresher breath, so there are cosmetic reasons

or let's see...a new hobby for some, an interest in DIY and chemistry and creating flavor combinations, a way to express creativity and learn about science

activism, some people probably never became activists and wrote letters or were involved in any campaign for change until they lobbied for vaping rights and maybe they learned more about their govt and who represents them and how to contact them and how bills are passed and so on

self esteem, i feel good about myself that i quit smoking, it's empowering, and also i have seen people take on other challenges, like running a long distance race, etc

I have definitely been hemming and hawwing between cost and social stigma.

if you like caramel i can almost guarantee you'd like the caramel wildwood

do you ask them for extra strong flavors? that's the way to go with ahlusion imo

Thanks Firephly! I'll give that one a try.

If I were writing it I would something about personal self esteem. Smoking is so taboo now....not smoking, not smelling like smoke, pride in quitting etc..

;). Id take the straight forward approach and base it on facts, cost savings, etc. Easy and quick.

I get far stranger looks vaping than I ever did smoking. (I would say they're even worse) I can't even tell you how many times people asked if I was doing drugs. No good.

i've been asked more than once if it's a "hookah", and people sometimes give me this *knowing* look like they don't believe me when i say it's an ecig and they tell me about their friend who uses his to vape h.a.s.h oil, etc

Yeah I was kinda rolling the smelling like smoke thing into the social stigma

Now to find an article from my research database on cost...
