Gourmet juice junkies and random rambles

I eat it when I'm either mid-shift and starving or after work when I know there's nothing to make at home or I don't feel like making it. It isn't that often. I am TRYING to eat better. (I was doing well but then went through this period of I D G A F)
Attempted to make myself a stir fry concoction last night. Mushroom, Onion, Asparagus (<--didn't turn out well), Snap peas and chicken. It was okay but specifically the asparagus was not good. Idk y but the prepackaged thing I bought didn't include the tops of the asparagus... (the spear looking part) only the stalk. Are you not supposed to eat that part? It's my favorite part. I usually don't eat much of the rest. (too stringy/tough)

Yeah, the tops are definitely the best part. You probly got old asparagus, did the tops disintegrate really quick? We got some from walmart that did that, and then some from kroger that was excellent. My girl makes all kinds of stir fry concotion type things. I think the tops go to mush also if they have been frozen on asparagus. God I need sleep

Lucky you.. I like their apple pies and roast beef and curly fries too. I would be fat if I had unlimited arbys, lmao. I get a 50% discount from all corporate and some franchise PapaJohns, but I still havent used it yet. Its not open for another hour after I leave work, and I never leave the house between wakin up and leaving. Sooooo not a morning person, at all. The test kitchen is upstairs, Im anxious to go and try a breakfast pizza, but I always get distracted and just leave on those rare days that theyre open and serving.

Well it was prepackaged asparagus mixture that came with mushroom and onions, already cut up. (I hate cutting onions) So yeah... maybe that's what they did. Took the stalks and gave the good stuff to something better. The regular/whole asparagus was just too expensive. Was like $3... Meanwhile the entire mixture was that price or less. I try to grab asparagus when it's on sale. It's funny because my brother always turned his nose up to it. Then finally one day realized that he in fact liked it. I blame my mom. She's such a picky eater so growing up we had NO range of tastes. For the most part, we cooked for ourselves. That's one thing I will give to my stepmom while we were growing up... She did cook and make our palate a little more versatile. Her, my grandma and my former friend got me to eat stuff I would never think of eating. (frog legs, calamari, sushi) I even inadvertently ate fish eggs once. It was rolled around the sushi... It was actually good. (they were tiny)

Masaga is one of my favorite kinds of fish eggs, sushi is probably me and my girls favorite thing to go out and eat together. Ill try almost anything, foodwise. Unless its something cooked in a goat bladder, or sheep stomach. Ill just take peoples word for it on that kinda thing

My girl loves it too, blegh, I think it smells like freakin feet. I ate at Athens in SC and was disgusted by the notion that they had taken something sacred like pizza and made it smell like gym socks... I like most foods, just not feta or limberger(which noone could get me to try, ever) I do love getting people who dont know about limberger to smell it at the store, lol. Who buys that stuff anyways? Smells just like a dog fart, lmao.
On that note, I gotta hit the hay. Volunteered for another 10 hr shift tomorrow. Gotta love OT pay tho

No.. They don't test stuff on us. At least not to my knowledge. By the time I get there, the free crap is already gone. Like yesterday they made a Greek pizza for us to try. Technically we're all supposed to try the new products so we can tell the customers whether we like it or not. I haven't tried the last 3 limited time pizzas. I wasn't really interested in any of them. The cheeseburger pizza looked and smelled disgusting. (I don't eat ground beef unless it's burgers, meatballs or meatloaf) The Double Pepperoni thing also looked gross, mainly because of the giant pepperoni/salami and the bacon flavored powder. (eww) And the Sweet Chili Chicken didn't look very appetizing either. I heard it was VERY sweet... Sweet and pizza don't mix for me. Then again I'm not huge on pizza to begin with.. and I hate our pizza... to be honest. It's one of the reasons I chose to work there. I knew I wouldn't be tempted to eat the product.

Forgot about blue cheese, cant stand that crap either. Who would go to make a cheese for the first time and think that was anything resembling food when it was done? Just as nasty as feta, for sure. Maybe even nastier.

Ugh! I'm having one of those nights where nothing goes right! Stupid dishwasher decided it doesn't want to work anymore, dryer appears to be going on the fritz..it dries but takes several cycles to do so, my son who is moving out this weekend needs to borrow money for a deposit so they can get the electricity turned on, apparently there's a problem with my other son's college financial aid application, but he heard me yelling about the dishwasher so he's steering clear of me right now, found out my stepson took several of my things when he moved out a couple of weeks ago (just found them missing when I looked for them tonight) and to top it all off I can't even vape because now I'm feeling sick to my stomach and the thought of vaping right now makes me nauseous! UGH!!!!!

Sorry for the rant but I just needed to get it off my chest! Carry on......

Wendy's makes a tasty salad. I forget the exact name... Maybe Almond Chicken or something like that? It has cranberries, apples, almonds, chicken and blue cheese. Well, one time I forgot to ask to remove the blue cheese and OMG... Even picking most of it off and drowning it in the dressing, I still could still taste it. I don't understand how anyone likes the crap.
Just like anchovies... people really do get that on their pizza. The smell is enough to send me running. Even boxed, inside the bag, it still stinks up my car. I hate it... And for whatever reason, it's usually old people that order it. Maybe because their taste buds are dead?

I agree 100% about bleu chesse! I HATE that stuff! Yuck and double yuck! Never tried feta though, so don't know about that one.

I never thought I would like sushi. (anyone remember the old "Doug" cartoon...) The first time I had it, it was disgusting. I'm guessing it just was bad in particular. It wasn't the store because I've since had sushi from the same place and it was fine. Luckily my friend went to Sushi Rock with a co-worker and loved it and convinced me to try it again. I was in love. Started safe with the California Roll (still one of my favorites) Then graduated to the Tuna roll... then spicy Tuna (favorite)... then other stuff like Eel... Yes, eel is good... if you get it done right. I have had bad eel and it literally tasted like I was licking a battery.

I wouldn't ask for extra flavor on the TVK Mango Sticky Rice - the Mango is pretty bold as is unless you want them to dial up the Coconut Custard part. I didn't try Perfect Pear or Spring Fling yet. Perfect Pear is from their original line of flavors so it is probably pretty well dialed in. What flavors are in Spring Fling?

I have been sitting on a sample of AiV's mango offering it made it on the regular menu so it must be good...I just well....you know fruits....very picky.

Hi Guys Long time no see, lol. I have been so busy at work this week that I havent had time to do any of my important forum postings... Stupid linux. It's not really stupid. Its way easier than I figured it would be. So I was eating a mcgriddle awhile ago, and lost a peice of bacon. It was in my car while I was at work on break, driving around eating and "napping". So when I got back to works parking lot, I looked all inside my car for the bacon. Later when I got home and went to fill my reo bottle, I discovered the piece of bacon had fallen thru the squonk hole, lmao. It was in my reo the whole time
Also, I polished off my 60 ml of Burley and candy, and started on one of the 30's from the new batch. Excellent, just as good as the last bottle. Long steep time for sure. Good things come to those who wait...

I still need to break that out and try it again now that it's much older lol

If you are ordering a small bottle of juice, they shouldn't charge $6 for shipping.
I love the juice I got from Vapeholic.
I just placed my second order this week.
They were my only buy during Memorial day and it wasn't even a sale.
But $7.40 for their S&H burns my .... up!
By the time I buy 2 bottles of juice I am paying nearly $40.
I know for some that is a mere drop in the bucket.
But for me it is a lot of money.
Still I love their Kryptonite and Jolly Apple ........... so what am I going to do.
I haven't found another vendor that creates juice that vapes like Vapeoholic.
It is hard to explain, but I think someone here posted it a few times , it is the 'mouth-feel' of the vape.
Also the flavor is phemonenal. I like up in my face flavor from juice and Vapeoholic delivers.

They must think you have a blader problem lol. I vape all night at my desk. I swear I go through an extra 2mls a night when I work!
