How do you get the syringe down in the bottle of PG and VG? When the bottle is a little over half, my syringe without a needle won't reach it.

You don't. When mixing by weight the VG goes in a squeeze bottle :thumb:

Stuff used all the time goes into HDPE squeeze bottles with yorker twist caps. Pour directly into glass bottle on scale, smallest I deal with are 10ml's sample size into 15ml bottles. Larger batches I use German made Pyrex media bottles (25, 50,100ml) their caps will not leak, can be completely submerged in ultrasonic cleaner if desired. Flavors are kept in original glass bottles from TFA, only brand I have so far. Gilson medical repeater pipette used for all flavors, small batch volumes I use the 1.25ml syringe, larger volumes, the 12.5ml syringe. Same single syringe quickly flushed several times with hot water in Pyrex measuring cup in sink, used again for next flavor. When I'm done mixing, I only have to wash ONE pipette syringe. It takes me longer to get my supplies out and put away, then mix and clean.

I found some squeeze bottles in Michaels a month or so ago while there with my wife. There's usually very little that interests me in those stores, but they had a section near the front with what looked like catsup and mustard bottles but semi-transparent like HDPE. I bought two thinking that they were too soft and the top might pop off pressing to dispense VG, but I could squeeze slowly and see how they worked. They turned out to be perfect for both PG and VG even with higher pressure for dispensing VG. I marked them PG and VG with a magic marker and they are now part of my mixing supplies.

I did this as well, except my experiment ended in tragedy while squeezing the VG. Oh my wife was mad about cleaning that stuff up. The top shot off under pressure and lost about 200 ml. I did finally get brave again and ordered some from liquid barn. They've worked great for awhile now. They're $.95 for each bottle.

That was my fear. I squeezed lightly while dripping into the bottle on the scale. Light pressure is good for slow dispensing and waiting on the scale to settle from the plop of VG and PG. Snipping the top cone opening might make it dispense without so much pressure, but that would probably make the little red cap on the spout not fit anymore. Maybe some duct tape around the outside of the threaded part would be good insurance. ;)

My AWS 501 scale came with a pan that has a ring on the bottom that fits on the scale and prevents lateral movement. That feature seemed like a good way to contain spills.

I pre-mix in large batches, four 250 ml bottles at a sitting. I go nic, PG, VG. Nic first because it involves syringing. I weigh the nic into all four bottles first, so I can get the nic bottle and syringe off the table.

For finished juices, I go flavors first, then base. No particular reason, other than I like to swirl the flavors around a bit and smell them combined before diluting them down with base.

This is what I have started doing. I have a half dozen cheap 12oz sqz bottles I got from Bed Bath and Beyond when I was in a rush to break down some liters of nic that I am now using for mixing. I have one with pg, one with vg and one that I mix up 3mg 60/40 base into 330ml at a time. The nic base is much faster for doing small samples or even 100ml batches with and I don't have to grab my 60ml yorker out with the 100mg nic as often that way or put on gloves, etc. I just give the nic base a good mix with the badger paint mixer, figure out how much the nic + vg + pg should weigh for whatever batch I am making and squeeze that amount in to my batch bottle.
