Are the 30 amp batts a must have or will something like a10 amp be sufficient?

It will all depend on your build.
The lower you go on the impedance of your coil, the more amperage you will draw.

I know you bought one from what I read, but I was looking at sevenvapes . com they have a set with clone mod, clone rda, drill bits, screw drivers, batteries, charger. Everything you need pretty much for $100

Cloud chasing kit could put the kit together on fasttech for a bit cheaper but I'm Leary but ordering from them heard the nick name slot tech?

Just be careful with any of the clones from fasttech that are painted, like the black ones, the paint can cause pretty big problems.
