Greetings, vaping comrades.

I'm quite new to vaping - almost a month without cigs! - and am really enjoying it. All the equipment is still rather confusing to me, though, so I'd like to ask a question, if I may:

Can you use any Kr808 charger with any Kr808 battery, or do you have to use batteries with chargers of the same brand? (I'd rather not blow up the house, if it's avoidable.)

Any Kr808 charger should work on any Kr808 battery, That being said any chargers and batteries could be a fire hazard and it is not recommended to leave charging overnight or leave them unattended.

I charge mine overnight all of the time, but its really up to the individual to make that call.

Vapers in the know use battery charging bags. At a couple bucks a piece, how can you go wrong knowing that your house isn't going to burn down? If you want to make sure you don't have a battery bag flying around the room you can also get yourself a nice metal box from the office supply store and charge them in the bag in the box.

In almost all cases this won't ever happen because the charger is designed to not overcharge the battery. The battery itself has a circuit in it that prevents you from over-draining it. At around 3.2volts it will shutoff and blink. If it were left uncharged like that for a significant period of time this circuit would eventually prevent the battery from charging once it got below a certain voltage (I believe it's 2.2volts?) because it would be dangerous. That circuit is constantly draining your battery which is why when they sit they lose charge. Li-Ion batteries last longest at 70% charge but no vaper would ever do that. Most batteries are only good for about 200 charges or when their capacity drops to about 60% of where it started. In short, they should last you at least a year, after that you should look into replacing them soon. It is charging them after this point that they become most dangerous. I hope I got my facts 100% straight and I hope that gives you some insight.

Generally, you can. If it's a KR808 you can use another KR808 charger. There are some exceptions though. I've never heard of this with the KR808 but there are some 510's that are reverse polarity and will fry your battery. It might be done so you use their products.

Always best to ask first, like you did. If the input and output match, it should be OK.

Anyway, I now have a Smoketip charger and batteries, which work perfectly well. I thought I might try something a bit snazzier, but I really don't want anything big. (Some of these gadgets look to be about the size of meatloaf.) I'm not a high-tech sort of a person, either, so simple is also a good thing.

The take-home message should be to NEVER charge batteries when you are away or asleep. Also, that you should check your battery while it's charging. If it gets hot, unplug it! Most batteries are good for anywhere from 6 months to a year. This is a good video. It's not intended to scare you away from ecigs, just letting you know there are inherent dangers with ANY battery! be it ecig battery, laptop battery, cell phone battery, etc.....

Which clearos do you want, the ce3/Phoenix. Smokeless image is getting them in. According to their customer service, they are supposed to be in in Monday. They are also getting the x2 in in several other colors which are supposed to be in on Monday or Tuesday as well.

These are the new colors they announced.
