i have a new verified authentic geekvape griffin rta.

my issue is rather an odd one.

the pole of which is on top of the insulator (with the pin) is slightly kneeling to the center and isnt standing as straight as the one to the left.

pictures to show ... attached.

is this ok? is it normal?

I am pretty new to rebuilding and do not have the griffin but on my avocado I know when I unscrew the 510 pin to change glass or clean the tank the positive (the one that is kneeling for you) comes loose. So maybe unscrew the 510 pin reset the post straight and then tighten the 510 pin.
what it looks like is the insilator is pushing it up making it lean.
so when i unscrew the pin does it come out all the way? and then i can straighten it? i havent done this.

Yeah I had to reset my post on the Tobeco velocity clone and change out the 510 it came with the bottom feed one installed. I'm sure it would be fine. If I had a griffin I would take it apart to check for you. Based on your location I totally understand not wanting to mess up an insulator.
so i just wicked it and i am vaping. is this a nitpick ? i am just .... about these things.

what would u do? leave it alone or mess with it?

As long as its working and tight use it. But if someone else who has one states that indeed the post is removable I would seat it properly just so I knew it was insulated properly.
sure ... but heres the thing. the post is kneeling cause the insulator maybe kinda "pushing it" to the center thus not straight. at least thats how i see it.

Well if you are using it that means its not shorting so should be ok. I'm like you though that would bother me. There should be someone here that has one. Maybe try posting in the rebuildable atomizer systems RTA part of ECF. There is a griffin post there. I am a tinkerer at heart though so I always disassemble all my atomizers as far as I can to clean and figure them out. I figure if I cant take it apart and put it back together properly then its too smart for me lol. But in your circumstances I understand being cautious not wanting to ruin it and just easily buy another.

Taking the 510 pin loose on these does not affect the positive post.To get to the positive post screw, you have to take the base apart which is press fit,and not very easy to get apart.I took one of mine apart, and it was not fun haha.I believe the lean is caused because of the way the screw pulls on that one side of the post/insulator with nothing holding in the center or on the other side,so all the pressure is on one side.

sometimes function is more important than looks.... dont try to "fix it". The insulator is causing the lean...
ya. thats what i said. lol

the whole press fitting is a non-professional job by geekvape. even my velocity clone is easily taken apart.
