Hey Deb....i have atm 3 of Griffin's holsters...one of em has gotten soaked by rain a couple days. I've gotten juice on them, so far I haven't seen any of the dye running....he does awesome work....his last masterpieces, one of the new ones he's fitted for me that i can use not only my roughstack, but the new GLV-2 mini I have coming, I got to see his mini in it when I went to pick them up, and he also has the roughstack too, so I know both will fit :) ... a fourth, he's redoing so that I can fit my provari or 18650 E-power inside, with one of my small VPX tanks attached as well ;) the provari and E-power's dimensions are sooo very close...only 1mm difference in diameter, so thats not a big deal...length is the same w/o the cone attached on the E-power so if you go 'coneless' with it, the mod will fit inside one of the provari holsters.......he has a compareable version of our E-power, made by someone else...dimensions are the same too, with and without the cone and he was able to check out mine to compare with his clone...and I had my tank attached on it as well...

I love that, heart attack!!! Are they on the website??

The skulls are not on the website. I only have a small number of them that I bought 15-20 years ago and haven't been able to find anyplace that still carries them.

I can put one on a holster, as a special order, for an extra $15. Just be aware that they do stick out quite a bit and have a tendency to rotate.

Sorry for taking so long to decide to part with them NatureBoy.

Grant it, I don't have a provari holster yet but I have the lanyard. I just tried my 18650 epower in it and it's loose...I mean loose as in "fall out on it's own" kind of loose.

Mine's really tight.. a little too tight. Hoping it stretches..

Looks great though with the chrome Provari. I'll take some pics when I have the regular end cap.. it looks a bit goofy with the extended cap cuz it's about twice the height as the holster.

that's quite a surprise since I had them both over at Griffin's....i measured them both myself at home and they are only 1mm difference in diameter, that shouldnt be enough to fall out of the holster....both of mine fit in the original holster he made for my provari, the e-power 18650 is loose, but not enough so that its even close to 'falling out' ...

The first few Provari pieces I made might have been slightly large because I had bad measurements to work from. I only realized that there was a problem when I finally was able to actually hold a Provari in my hand (thanks Shaitaan!).

Any small difference in diameter between two similar-size mods will also be more noticeable with a lanyard or open-top holster because a snug fit is the only thing keeping the mod in place.

Snug is good, however this is a bit too snug. The BB fits in it perfectly, with just the right amount of tightness. The Provari on the other hand takes quite a bit of force to get in and out. I'm just keeping the Provari in the holster for a while to hopefully stretch out the leather a bit. Though I'm thinking if I had something just a slight bit thicker than the Provari, it might help loosen up the leather a bit better. I'm down to one mod now unfortunately... :)

ProVari Nirvana
I've got two of the holsters for my ProVaris (one black & one brown) and they both fit perfectly. And I haven't lost my ProVari anywhere since I got them.

I keep them both down by my cell phone charger, and the morning ritual is put on my phone, put on my holster, load in my ProVari and I'm ready to face the world.

If you can grab a cheap dowel rod from the hardware store that is just a *tiny bit* bigger in diameter than the Provari (take the mod with you to compare the size), you can work it into the holster and let it sit overnight - that will usually do the trick.

It can be helpful to *gently* tap the dowel in using a mallet or a block of wood - just be careful not to push it in so far that it damages the retaining strip at the bottom.

If you'd prefer, though, you can send the holster back and I'll either stretch it to fit better or replace it.

Cool, thanks for the suggestion. I'll pop by Rona and pick up a piece of doweling and give it a shot. :)
