I'm interested in the Gripper Mod (not the VV version) I like the size and the top button, it looks great for vaping on the go and stealth vaping. I haven't made the leap into replaceable battery mods yet I think this might be a great start for me.

I've read somewhere that some batteries don't fit so can anyone recommend a battery and charger I should get? and maybe a vendor.
I've searched and can only find this information for the VV mod.

Thanks!!

i have one of those you can get them @ mad vapes for $15.99 1835 batts are 5 bucks a piece and a charger for 10 bucks and if you want to use a tank
you will have to get an extension tube they are about 4 bucks.
All and all not to bad just dont drop it to much it is plastic

But it is really TOUGH plastic!! I've banged mine around and it's been dropped...and still works fine. I got mine mid summer last year...and use it all the time, especially when I am going out in public.

I use pretty much all sorts of batteries in mine. The are some button tops that will be a bit long-ish in them...but you can compensate for that. See the listing at MV about that they have a suggestion for ya. Generally I use AW IMR, EH and eFest flat tops, and even 16340s....button top or flat.

They are semi-mechanical (much like the Bolt) so they are pretty forgiving.

Seperate parts vs. Kit, doesn't really matter to me. I plan on using a tank with an extension. I just wanted to make sure I get the right battery and charger maybe the best battery I can get. The kit will come with the correct battery and it's always good to have extra cartos, so either one will work fine.

Also is there any other difference between button top and flat top batteries besides the D cell battery type bulge at the top?

when i was flat and started DIY i was using the syringe that came w/ my printer ink refill kit lol. personally i'd throw the damn cartos in the trash, half will end up there anyway as doa. still a great kit even w/o the cartos.

I like to rotate flavors so cartos work for me when on the go, I just refill a bunch and throw them in a lil baggie. Theres nothing like a DCT tho and I haven't had any DOA cartos yet out of maybe 30 that I've used so far I got a syringe from a B&M shop

i hate cartos personally, why i said that...if u like em though then that's even better - if it was me i'd get that kit and be done w/ it.

I would also suggest picking up some Vision Nanos if you can. I like being able to check the fluid level and the Nano lets you do that easily. They do need a short 510 to 510 extension but it makes a perfect fit...
