Gripper suggestion

I've had my Gripper for a few days and really like it so far, but I'd like it better if I could use 18350's and get the cap screwed in all the way.

Don't know if this has been mentioned but have you thought about offering spare end caps with about 1/2 the current threading? I know you can't increase the internal diameter of the cap because of the body constraints, but a shorter shaft might work and still give you enough threads to get it closed good and tight.

Now there's a piece of advice I've never heard before. But hey, if it works it works. Too funny!

Yeah, it sounds odd. The Gripper's battery compartment is tight but once you flip the batt, the positive raised button recesses into the spring cap freeing enough threads to close it up.

Talking UF 18350s. No clue on others.

FYI. Not my idea... saw it mentioned on another thread.

Anyone have a solution to the threads on the bottom coming out. I am on my 3rd or forth gripper because of this issue.

Did you try the most excellent suggestion of flipping the battery? I've been flipping mine and no more thread issues..

What are you seeing with yours?

Guessing he's seeing the female thread sleeve (what the spring knob screws into) detaching from the plastic body and sliding out.

I had that happen to one of mine. I squirted some superglue in between the sleeve and plastic body and it's stayed put so far.

These are all good suggestions. It is also worth noting that the battery cap only needs to be snug. No need to crank it really tight.
