Alright, 2 days ago I made my "hello" post and I mentioned I may be outgrowing my volt. Yeah, well, I'm definitely outgrowing my volt. So now I'm looking at the infamous eGo. I am so green to all this, I need a bit of help. eGo c, eGo t, eGo twist....it's a bit overwhelming atm, being new and all. I like that the twist can do vv, but some kinds have passthrough which is also very tempting. Being new, I don't know if it's normal, but I chain vape like crazy. I haven't smoked in years, but I do love vaping. :) So...what eGo-ish thing would you fine folks reccomend, and what exactly do I need to make it a complete experience, besides the charger and juice? Also, do I need 2 batteries like I currently use with my volt? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated! TIA! :D

get a couple of eGo twists. I own all three models and the twist is by far the best. The passthrough is not really worth losing the variable voltage. If you like the twist, get a third so you have a back up, back up. You should be able to find 650 ma for about 20-25 bucks each. I have a t and it is collecting dust, no comparison to the vaping you can do with a twist.

You will like your Twist. I thought I was too good for one, looked down on it... And then I tried one. Holy cow. Yep, a genuine Joyetech Twist is the bomb.

I'm not a high voltage vaper, I find my sweet spot to be around 3.8 volts with a 2.0 standard resistance cartomizer. The Twist did this in spades.

My only major complaints? You have to rely on the notches to know if your voltage is correctly set, and it won't let you know how low your battery is getting. These are minor complaints. I charge my Twist every other night, and it seems to be doing just fine. In fact, I wouldn't mind buying two or three more just to have them.

Get a Vision spinner and some vivi nova tanks. I felt as though I outgrew my Volt the 2nd day I had it and had to get a Vision spinner to see what the fuss was about. I like them both honestly. Been only vaping on my volts today and use them when I'm out in public.

That is exactly what I was going to do with my volt. Can't see myself getting rid of it, it will be my carrier vaping device for sure, but it simply can't carry the brunt of my excessive vaping at home and work. lol.

HOLD ON !!

If you are talking about the Smokeless Image Volts, are you aware that the X2 batteries sold by Smokeless Image are the same as an eGo, only with 808 thread? They are also selling the Volt X2 Spinners, their own (uh hum) rebranded Spinner variable voltage battery.

Just saying, cause you likely already have other Smokeless Image gear that you can still use.

Yeah with the volts, even with the 78mm batteries I needed to buy three to always be with a full charge. Even the 78mm batteries only last a couple of hours. The 1300mah vision spinner I have lasts me about 9 hours and when it runs down I just switch back to my volts. The spinner is convenient but I do miss having a little cig like device when I use it sometimes. Best to have both.

Yeah, the 1300 are really big. That is okay, but I tell you, you may want to try the 650 to make sure you like it before you get one of those bazookas. They are a bit more expensive. I would start with a duo of 650 twists. If you like those maybe get a big one. My 650s last me for about six hours each, so I run them all the way to zero, and then plug the dead one in right after I screw the replacement onto the clearo. I rotate three, but you can get by with two. You should be able to buy the trial pair for under 50 with a little luck.

Actually that is an excellent point. Good call.

Yeah it is the best I've found. I just bought a twist this weekend & of course found that after I purchased mine. I spent like $50 on one joyetech twist + mini nova + charger + case (which isn't bad) but for another $20 I could have gotten an extra batt & tank :(

Oh we'll I'm happy that I got a genuine twist reacher then the fakes out there... Be careful about that too.

The site I purchased from was on joyetechs distributors web page... If u want to take a look its

I am indeed talking about the smokeless image volts. I didn't get the x2, just the regular 78mm as I wanted to "ease into" this.....BAD IDEA! ANYBODY NOT INVESTED IN EQUIPMENT YET WITH THAT MENTALITY JUST DROP IT AND GET SOMETHING YOU CAN GROW INTO, NOT OUT OF!! Sorry for the caps, but I hope I feel that can't be said enough.
