I went through a rough patch awhile back and came here to vent and got a much needed pep talk which kept me hangin on. So now I'm back because of a different problem :(
I got a vamo a couple weeks ago thinking it would solve all my problems. It worked great for a week, then no matter what I put on it it wouldn't work, it would say LO so I would check the battery it was fine then I would try unscrewing the tank a bit. It has been a on again off again thing.. now it's a wont even turn on thing! :( I'm so frustrated with this thing! I'm back using my One Kgo because the other one I had wont even charge! I know I should just chill, but one battery and a dead vamo is Frustrating!!!!
Any ideas what is up with this vamo?? Is there like a secret I'm unaware of?

GRRR Vamo! why must you look at me with your crazy little face and refuse to work?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Thanks everyone for the replies, The battery I am using came with the kit, so I'm sure it's a cheapo, the charger (also came with the kit -Cheapo-) had a green light so I assumed the battery was charged, but it Mr. Vamo won't come on. I will look for a better battery and charger when I can afford it. everything worked fine until I put a Iclear 30 on it, then everything went squirrelly.. the iclear I was trying to use on it wont work on my kgo at all, so maybe i broke everything at once, who knows.
I hope its just the battery
Can anyone point me to a good place to buy a good battery and charger? hopefully I can get one before my kgo bites the dust.

very true, I guess I just didn't want to think something is broke before I even get to use it. but thats probably the case. I'm thankful that mine just sat there doing nothing at all now, at least it wasn't a blaze like yours!
oh, and I didn't get any replacement heads, they were sold at when I got it.

If the iclear won't work on either device, maybe it's the iclear? Have you tried replacing the head yet? I've blown coils in those before, in fact I got one to catch fire once, which while spectacular, isn't advised.

I almost pulled the trigger on the Vamo. The pulse modulation concerned me, but I didn't want to drop the money on the Provari until I am sure this is something I am going to stick with. I am going to go with a mech mod + the crown. This should give me the same performance as the Provari for half the cost. Minus the nifty display, but giving me the option of low resistance vaping.

I am on my second Vamo. My first one lasted a couple months before it stopped working. But, I liked the vari wattage feature enough that I bought another. First thing to try is to strectch the spring in your end cap out a bit. The earlier models came with a too thin spring and didnt hold its shape enough to apply the right amt of pressure on the battery connection. The "Lo" usually means a problem with your carto or atty. I had the same problem with mine last week and changing out my carto fixed it. No further problems. Good luck, its a decent mod for the cost.

WeedyBroccliBee, I see you are here in Georgia. If you are anywhere near Marietta, GA let's hook up and see if we can get that fixed for you. I may have a few things lying around as well that could help out. Let me know, cause if you're in my area, we can get much taken care of.

1. Take a small screwdriver and pry gently around the top post and try to lift it up a bit. This is a common problem with the VAMOs. Mine worked fine for a week until I dropped it. The center post fell down just enough to not make contact. If this fixes the problem you can start looking at the batteries as the problem (although, truth be told, I'd just return that one and get another).

2. Get an Xtar charger and AW IMR LiMN batteries. They're available from multiple vendors so you shouldn't have any trouble finding them.
