Kanger eVod Most of time you see the word Evod it is referring to the clearomizer, Evod is also a ego style battery. Both are Kanger products, however there are knockoffs of the clearomizer.

Cones for all your ecig products Cones go on the outer threads of an ego battery, main purpose is for looks and to hide the outer ego threading. Usually when people say cone, they mean one like the third one down on the left, the black ego cone.

As far as I can see they only sell cones for their X2 batteries..unless I'm missing something or would those work? I can't seem to send their cust svc a msg it just won't go thru...

I had a Volt Spinner and the Volt X2 cones fit perfectly on them.

I hate to jump in here unasked, but what else is new? Volt Spinners are interesting little critters. They have 808 internal threads and what appears to be external eGo threads, but looks can be deceiving. The size of the threads are similar, but the ones on the Volt Spinner (as opposed to an eGo or Vision Spinner) are a different height.

I have a Volt Spinner and any cone using standard eGo threads will fit...every vendor sells these, I've bought eGo cones and thread sleeves from SmokTek and they fit fine.

I did use eGo short-cones before Smokeless Image came out with their own. I almost forgot about that! I believe I ordered mine from MyVaporStore.

The outside threads on a Volt Spinner and their X2's are the same as an eGo. It's funny, because when we used to use them, my husband kept trying to use his eGo clearomizers on them. I kept trying to tell him they wouldn't work, but he insisted they should've since the threading fit on the outside of the Volt Spinner. Eventually he caught on that the battery didn't make a connection to the clearomizers, just the outside.

Yes, it'll screw on, but the battery connector on the device isn't long enough to make contact ... some of the eGo devices do directly attach and work though...I recently discovered that the new Vision VT 2ml tank will work on the Volts...the Kanger T2 was posted to work, others too, there's a thread on the SI forum that's talking about this:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-808-clearos-work-x2-battery-revisited-4.html

...and who knows what else? Other than that, nothing that an 808/eGo adapter won't solve attaching to it, if one really wants to use a particular device. This can be SI's next research project, "ask Imagine" to test every eGo tank and clearo out there and see which works (yeah right)!

I actually gave up my 808 stuff through PIF. It's just much easier to deal with the eGo type batteries and supplies. Also, hubby and I both have APV's. Nothing wrong with the 808's. They were what we wanted at the time. I really think Smokeless Image has the best batteries, just that I feel their clearomizers are lacking.

Well said TinaF1971, agree with that...I love my Spinners, they are nice, fantastic quality, but the device offerings are a tad thin on the website and SI doesn't seem to be blazing forth real speedily with new product announcements. Take the CE4's they sell. I'm sure they're fine and work well, but they are NOT rebuildable...so I looked and bought a pack of Vision 808 rebuildable CE4's from another vendor. I've kicked around buying a couple 510 eGo's, but decided not to, the Volts are good, got enough batteries, don't want to spend, more to keep and maintain, so I picked up the 2 adapters - 808/eGo 510 and the regular 808/510. Now I know I can throw anything out there on top, no matter what SI does/doesn't sell. I've noticed some people seem averse to using adapters, I'm not, that's what they're for. I don't keep that many different devices (don't want a lot!) but for what I use when an adapter is needed my setups look fine, nothing a thread sleeve won't help pretty up!

Adapters are a great idea! My husband had the earliest versions of the X2s that didn't have the 5-click shut off. In fact they were called the Maxx. Then SI had to change the name and came out with the 5-click shutoff. So we decided to get the eGos to replace them. A few people in the SI forums have requested cartotanks for the X2's and Spinners, but they seem to be ignored. So I think an adapter is the way to go.

Also, didn't realize I inverted my letters in my original post for APV's. Oops!
