I think that all depends on how you view juice in general. I try to mix flavors at a minimum because it is my belief that if anything is found to be harmful in what we are vaping it may just be the flavorings. Like I said everyone has their own opinion on this and is entitled to it.

I also find that if you add too much flavor it ruins the taste but again that is JMO :)

This is unknown waters, I do like double flavor in certain vapes, but I've asked myself the same question. As much as I want to convince myself it's 100% safe (and it might be) - it is still odd for a human to inhale anything but air into their lungs. I'm a chronic chain vaper btw, so if they find something wrong, it'll be with me - lol

Great job guys!
Any suggestions on FA Caramel, Maple, or Red Bull?
I'm having trouble with these :(
I don't have Red Bull, but I use Caramel or Maple at about 4% (For me, I just add 12 drops to a 10ml base). FA can be tricky. You don't need much. Some flavors only need 1-2% and others up to 6 or 7% (for me anyway). ;) Good luck!

Ordered my first sets of stuffs :0). I'm a nurse and a baker so getting the "tools" of the trade wasn't rough. I only use glass for mixing at home and well.....syringes, gloves and etc are normal work tools for me. This guide is FANTASTIC. I have a HUGE sweet tooth, I did order some of the sweetner from PA :0) and some of their flavors. Wish me and the brat (my 19 yo duaghter) luck!!

That's what I do seantex. I have been getting 48 mg nicotine VG liquid from Gourmet Vapor when they have their 50% off sales. I use an 80/20 VG/PG mix (approximately), so if I use 48 mg nicotine liquid, I get a 10-12 mg liquid as the final product.

Using different amounts of flavoring makes the nicotine percentage fluctuate a bit, but not enough to matter.

Today I just mixed 4 ozs of a 75/25 PG/VG blend to have on hand - one ounce (or 30 mls) of VG nicotine liquid with 3 ounces of PG. That way, it's one less step when I want to make a flavored liquid.

Aargh. So I am a big fan of lorannes bavarian cream, but since I vape more than 30 ml per week and I got tired of breaking out the hazard gear every week I made up five bottles in a go figuring it would last me a month. Unfortunately I did NOT take into account the steeping effect. The first two bottles were fine. The third was a bit...off. The fourth one rates overly perfumery and I an looking at that fifth bottle with dread. Even diluting it now doesn't seem to work. But that may just be all in my mind.

Hey DIYers,

Just started with LorAnns, first flavor being watermelon. I noticed there is alot of dye. I bought an assortment box from amazon (24 for $30) and I was wondering if your versions are this dye heavy too. (I'm pretty sure they're all the same, the info at the beginning of this thread includes red dye under the watermelon listing.) I am not too worried about it (so much better than smoking,) but I had to ask. Thx

Oh, and about that assortment box if anyone was interested, I'm glad I bought it, but you must know that half (12 of them) were oils. I didn't get any doubles of the non-oil drams, but I got 4 cinnamon, 3 peppermint, 1 spearmint, 1 clove, 1 anise, 1 lemon, and 1 orange in the oil dept. For non oils I got one of the following: Bavarian Creme, Butterscotch, Watermelon (2 actually), Orange Cream, Strawberry, Raspberry, Cran-Raspberry, Bubblegum, Cherry, Grape, and Root Beer.

Any suggestions on what to do if you have had any successes with these flavors would be nice.

Regarding nic juice strength... I hear alot of people fearful of getting really strong nic base. I started off with 100mg strength and I have to say I'm quite pleased with it. I have made a bottle that I work with, 50 mg (just added it to an equal part of PG.)
Also, I find that having it at 100 or 50 mg has calculations alot easier and they come out in nice even, easy to do amounts. (my last one came out to 2 mls exactly for a 10 ml recipe.) I think the fear of using high mg juice can be addressed by diluting it to a strength you feel comfortable working with!

Just thought I'd share ;) . Oh and I got the juice from extreme vaping I believe is the name. I'm sure there are plenty of places though.

So sorry about the triple post everyone, still new to ECF and figuring things out!
