Bat Country!
Thanks for sharing, good fun!

Anyone ever watch Kristofer Dahl's Youtube vids? He is an insanely skilled guitarist, very versatile, and does some great legit guitar work on the vast majority of his vids, but he has a twisted sense of humor and get's a wild hair every now and then and does one of these; sorta in the same spirit a'la Borat's little brother or something, I dunno how to make it show up on the page here but here is the link to one of his goofy videos to get you started. He's basically debunking Zakk Wylde

YouTube - GuitarTube 1 - Zakk Wylde Lesson

I hope y'all enjoy, if you do; investigate some more of his funnies with the fake mustache

Hawaii! Yay haha
I didn't know what was so funny at first. I watched EVH shredding and thought 'wow, he's totally sucking here' till I heard the drummer - sounds like a drum machine? THEN I got it.

My sides hurt right now! I just have to show these clips to fellow guitarists at work. I'm not telling them the joke just to see their reactions! It helps to see the real clips after (links are right to the side of the video on YouTube) so you can see how far off the sound is on these joke ones. Makes it funnier the second time around.

Shreddie Van Halen. Hahahaha :D That Steve Vai one, I almost had soda shoot out of my nose at one point where he's totally sucking, and people in the crowd are hooting and clapping!

The effort that goes into dubbing these things. Kudos to the maker!

Dude that's funny. Kinda, problem is I have nightmares were no matter what I do I can't play. I'll be in front of a nice big croud and nothing I do works, The strings are breaking or I just can't get my fingers to work. Then I'm trying to explain that I really can play and I'm getting bood of the stage. Damn I hate that dream. I have played drums for over twenty years and never had a dream were I can't play drums. But I get the guitar dream every once in a while.

Ooh, I've helped friends setup onstage and then end up with major problems during their set. Kicking a patchcord and damaging it, not being able to see their frets in the dark and playing the wrong notes, snapping strings... In the end I became obsessed with having lots of duct tape, extra cables, clip-on lights, you name it. It's a habit that's trickled down to my e-cig life. I have tons of batteries and atomizers, and I keep ordering more for no reason at all.

Always need to have back-ups and spares!

Some people just have too much time on their hands!

It's hilarious, especially the EVH clip that was posted on ECF a while back. The Steve Vai clip was interesting, especially for us guitar players who have watched his videos over the years. You can see the hammers, pulloffs, trills, and slides and it actually looks and sounds legit if you don't watch too closely. I especially was impressed at the clicks when he hit the pickup switch although they wouldn't have been heard at concert volume. Well Done!

I played in cover bands for 20 years and now I play guitar in a Praise Band at church. It's a cushy job for an old player. I get to sneak Classic Rock licks into modern day church music. It's a great gig.

Oh thank you Ourei for admitting this. At 1st I wasn't getting it either, I just kept thinking man when Van Halen has a bad day he really has a bad day, and caught on tape. But eventually I got it when other things didn't add up.
