Just saw Rush this past Friday (the 1st) ...what an awesome experience! What a CLASS act!! I've seen some great bands in my day...Rush ranks up there as one of the best. Great experience!! Guess what? Styx is coming in 3 weeks and my wife surprised me and got two tickets!! I feel like I'm living my youth again!! Sometimes you need to let things go and just have fun!! We have decided to do that again!!!

Not much to add. Rush is my all time favorite band. Still listen to them daily BTW, usually when riding my bike to work and back. In high school my teenage band emulated them as best we could. Took 5 of us, but our drummer and bass player held it together. We had to have a lead singer and two guitars... Saw them live many times over the years. I read that Geddy, Alex, and Neil are in search of the perfect album once... I honestly believe Moving Pictures was close to perfection. Thanls for posting that Free Will video, it brings back some memories.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Styx probably won't be as good as Rush. Oh, and since they're not coming to Detroit on this tour I officially hate you. (and anyone else who gets to see them on this tour.)

I take it all back. New dates announced. Detroit in April! And Hamilton later that same week. Not too far from the D.

I saw them last year on the current tour, 5th time for me. 1st time with my wife. Although she's not as connected spiritually to their music and lyrics as I am, she was blown away by their level of musicianship. she is a talented pianist and has a great ear for talent.

It's been months since the concert, and I haven't looked lately....does anybody know if there is a you tube of them "monkeying around" on Tom Sawyer? If you've seen the tour this year, you know what I mean. Don't ruin it for the ones who haven't been yet. :)

That they do!!!! It's amazing these guys are in their 50's. They play, energy wise, like they're in their 20's. They rocked hard as hell!!!

50 isn't old for a musician. It's like hitting 5th gear and cruising, but with more savvy than then they were 20. And, they won't have the after concert party until 5am like they did 20 years ago. What is Mick Jagger, like 64?
