gus aiolos/gp spheroid question

so i have a wonderful gus aiolos that i can no longer use because the positive connection in the bottom came undone and now it won't screw back in because the nut it screws in to is floating on the inside of the assembly. can anyone tell me how totake appart this monster? i have seen pictures of the spheroid that show it fully disassembled but I can't seem to grasp how its done.

I havent taken mine apart but i read something a while back and if i remember correctly - the bottom collar is reverse threaded. meaning it has to be screwed onto a mod then with some kind of padding and pliers or channel locks you twist the base/bottom collar clockwise (which will also tighten it against the mod) to get it off. this was so the bottom piece doesnt constantly twist open every time you go to open the coil/filling section. dont know if the gus is built identically.

I found this video and unused it to help me remove the bottom assembly.
