So I am on vacation this week so I'll try to get some nice pics up this week. But in the meantime I built my Estia successfully this morning. The trick for me was the size of the coil ID. I used a mandrel that is approximately 1/16 inch rather than 5/64. This made all the difference. Worked like a champ the first time.

A couple of quick things.

1. At around 0.7 ohm I'm getting better flavor from this tank than any other I have ever used. Better than the aqua for sure. In regards to vapor it's on per with the aqua which means it's great. I don't know if there is more.

2. The positive crown for pinning the wires works amazing. I love it!

3. The Gus with the Estia is a light device for sure.

4. The air hole setup is not obvious if you want to try single or dual coils. On one side is four holes. This is what I am using to get air to all three coils. If you flip the outer tank piece you can have just two hole instead of four. A diagram than shows which holes feed which coil position would be useful.

5. It isn't really possible to bottom fill the tank like the aqua. There is not enough space under the original on the chimney like the aqua to do it. No big deal.

I wish there was a brass accent piece/ring somewhere on the tank. I miss having the brass accent AFC ring from the regular 510 top.

All in all I love this thing. It is instantly my favorite tank.

Does it really matter where the airholes go? If you want a single or dual coil set-up wouldn't you just screw the screws in to block the air channels you won't be using, then use the 4 air holes to regulate the airflow going to either a single coil or dual coil?

That's right! They feed all the holes. I forgot about the screws as I removed them first thing. I guess if you looking for I tighter draw you can flip the tank so only two of the four holes are getting air. You can really tighten the draw alot if you want. It isn't overly an airy draw wide open however. Gully open for me is perfect

Thank you CW.

Can I send you the new pic links and you just "replace" them on the first post itself?

That's like 30 pics...sorry, no...

But !

Re-create the whole post in the sandbox and I will swap it out.
