Ok, i got my Estia in today... Fresh bath, 3 coils 30g kanthal 8 wraps on a 1/16 drill bit. Cotton wicks from a cotton ball. Simple to set up coils, thread wicks, build done in 30 minutes... I was taking my time. I now use ceramic tip tweezers to tighten n place coils. The Estia is awesome. Aiolos & GUS TYTYTYTYTYTYTYYYYYYYY I have not been this happy with new vape gear since..... NEVER!! This atty is #1 in my rotation. Dam cotton has not even broken in yet & its that good.

Hi Guys, great to read through this thread to see so many GUS fans

I've got a GUS Tele V2 and just upgraded from the old switch to the new soft touch ball bearing style.... I love it!

I was thinking about getting a nice polished G22 18650 tube.... would the GUS 22 18650 tube (for €15.80) fit with my new telescopic ST switch and Telescopic top cap or are they just not compatible?

I was also thinking about getting the new top cap with air flow - the brass up top would really compliment the brass on the ST switch - would the airflow top cap be compatible with the Telescopic? It's not so clear on the site so I'm guessing it's compatible but may be wrong....

Can i rock super slow subohm coils on the new ball bearing switch without it getting hot? I have a GUS Core and the switch and spring just cant hang with it.

Yes. I have a 3 coiled Estia on a 18500 tube + switch with bearings. daily awesomeness, just no other atty can keep up.

.6 ohm total. 3 coils, 30g 7 wraps on a 1/16 drill bit. Cotton wicks in the microcoils.

A 0.6ohm works on my Core fine. A 0.3ohm starts getting a hot switch... i think it might be due to the soft spring in the switch. Stronger springs (or magnets) seem to function better with lower builds.

i'm not doing crazy 0.08ohm builds with chicken wire kanthal like some people these days, but i enjoy a nice 0.3ohm coil at times for sure.

Yes, a 16mm Dripper ~ the Aiolos-D. It's 'tank' version is the Aiolos-T √

Unfortunately both aren't ready yet. It's still in the Prototype Testing phase - and getting some tweaks. Should be ready by this month end Classy. And the "T" is something you don't want to miss ~ it is AWESOME. A small Estia
