OK, so I'm a guy and I have one black and one green Spinner. I'm gonna order a yellow one next time but was thinking about the rainbow Spinners then thought maybe they look a little 'girly'. I mean, I'm not one of those 'macho' guys but wasn't really sure on the actual colors. I know they differ slightly from the pic. Any thoughts?

They aren't for me, but if you like it go for it. If turns out to be something you don't like, you could just make it for at home use only.

The rainbow color is quite beautiful, but I certainly don't think of it as "girly", the colors are strong.
I'm not a girly-girl at all, and I'm not embarrassed to carry one.
Now, if someone gave me a pink battery, I'd re-home it.

It's not girly at all, but the problem is that you can't read the numbers on the bottom.
They differ from battery to battery. The first one I got, the colors where pretty well separated and yeah, looks a little fru-fru. The second one, the colors are a little bit more smooshed together, and it looks more like a chromey golden bronze with some purple, blue and teal at the end. But I don't think you'd be able to request one or the other - you just take your chances.
And of course, if you glue on some SS9 rhinestones at the bottom to mark the settings (because you really can't read them), ...
But I love SI's yella too. I call that one my Bruce Lee battery, all decked out with a black EVOD and a Yin Yang charm. This is always my first color whenever SI comes out with a new battery type.
The orange and neon/lime green have their own personalities too.

I'm gonna pass on the rainbow and get the yellow. I was going to get some black clearos cause I like the look of black and yellow. But no rhinestones! I'll admit I'm gay but not that gay. LOL
I just got a Rainbow 78mm and it looks like the blueing that happens on your motorcycle headers, but a bit more colorful. It also reminds me of carnival glass as well, so it can go either way. I like mine, all the women say how pretty it is and where can they get one? Chick magnet? I dunno......
SI's Yella is very cool, especially with anything black and/or chrome. And you won't need rhinestones on that one - you can read the numbers fine on it!
I know this is an old post but just for any one else wondering. I have a green iclear16 on my rainbow spinner and it does not look feminin at all. I think green and yellow are good masculine colors to compliment
I actually just bought a rainbow spinner. I dunno, it looks more like oil floating on water than a true unicorn-and-puffy-cloud-rainbow, so I figured my manhood would not be challenged.

Awe thats a shame iget guys comlimenting mine all the time with my green clearos on it. And your spot on about the oil spill look. I personally do not and would not thinkmof it as pretty lol... Guess im wierd. I was actually hoping it was going to be prettier
That looks pretty good. I should have bought one. I bought the yellow spinner this time but I may buy the rainbow and a green T3. Thanks!
Now if SI would just produce a chrome battery in a GUNMETAL finish, all us guys could really do the Tim Taylor growl! Hear that SI?? Are you listening?? GUNMETAL finish is wanted on the batterys! I will also copy this post in the suggestion thread!
