Congrats! Rest assured it will ship tomorrow!

I'm kinda feeling the same way you did, Red. Just haven't pulled the trigger yet but...the 14500 is in my battery family, this mod can feed itself, the customer service level is obvious, the design is attractive, it'll fit in my PV case...

The more I think about it...I can't think of any negatives and I've done a lot of site and forum loitering. I just got a new mod I need to appreciate for a little bit and then... :)

Just pulled the trigger also :)
Ultramax RES along with the nice carrying case

Nice, please let me know what you think when you get it!

There's a carry case?? Oh man...I love carrying cases...

Not just a carrying case... A custom machined work of art (I'm biased ;)) this is cut from a solid block (billet) of T6 6061 aluminum. With n45 neodymium magnetic closure. Custom stainless steel hinge pins. 3M Poron foam on the lid to cushion the Alpha. The case is anodized for additional strength an drurability. Precisely designed to hold your alpha and needed accessories, spare batteries, extra atty with drip tip and liquid.

Backed by a lifetime warranty.

Cheers!

I have a case for the ultralite and its frickin sweet. I carry it everywhere I go.

That is one nifty case, to be sure! Tell me...is this a pocket friendly mod? Because it seems the right size to be the main or back-up and that means it'd be in the cell phone pocket of my purse or in my PV case. Would it survive in my cell phone pocket?

Absolutely, the Alpha switch is designed so that it cannot be advisement activated in purse or pocket. And it is built to last, the Alpha and RES have a 10 year warranty. The Case, lifetime warranty.

Extremely pocket or purse Friendly. I have a Ultra or Ultramax in my pocket at all times and the other in a case in my messenger bag.

Thank goodness. Would hate to break a will-travel-in-a-pocket trend.

Yeah if you break one in your pocket I would be very surprised.

This will be my last intrusion into this thread (I promise!) but I have two questions:

--Can I use a dual coil carto in the RES? The top has to be kept wet.
--Is the RES adapter friendly? I love 901s and 801s for the flavor and vapor

That's it. Then I'll go back to quietly stalking...lol

I know the dual coil works, and the RES will keep it nice and wet. Adapters can be hit or miss, I think we will end up making 801 and 901 adapter that will be designed to specifically work with the RES.

You'll love your new PV. I haven't put it down since I got it. I even went back and bought another RES so that I could change flavors when I want to.

Good to hear the Alpha has been taken good care of you! Did you get your spare RES? How is it working to store liquid? I think you were the first to think of doing that, very curious if has been working well for you :)

It's a great idea to have a spare RES for a different flavor. I was thinking about doing the same thing, but I had no idea how I would store it. Is there any chance that you guys could make a case for a spare RES? I was thinking something along the lines of a little cylindrical canister that has a pop-top cover....kinda like the plastic ones you use for rolls of film.
