Well I had seen many posts about cleaning your EVOD coil so I thought I would give it a go, once I had everything disassembled I noticed that my flavor wick looked really bad, then I remembered reading a post about cotton wicks on ECF, so I took a cotton ball and made my own flavor wick, the first one was to thick and the juice wasn't flowing well and it had a burnt taste after a few hits in a row, but the next one was just right. I think that the flavor is better then when it was a silica flavor wick.:D

The only downfall so far is that I'm vaping more because the flavor is better, I filled my evod just after adding the cotton flavor wick, and before I knew it I had a dry hit And was like ..., I looked and the tank was, dry, guess I better stock up on juice.

I am getting a genisis atty of some type soon, so having more juice will be important.
I spent most of this evening watching youtube videos about genisis attys that use ss mesh and cotton as well, found some really good ideas that I will try when I get my new atty

I would suggest rebuilding the evod head before attempting a genesis.
Indeed, Butters. Get the initial trial and error out of the way, because their will be more trial and error when you start rebuilding genesis attys...and learning on something like EVOD or Protank heads will help you get ready for that next step.

I plan on it as soon as I get some wire, what size wire would you recommend to use on a twist? and what is the lowest ohm I should go.

I've used both 32 and 30ga Kanthal A-1 wire. I wouldn't go below 1.5 ohms.

Oh, and get a multimeter from Lowes, Home Depot or Harbor Freight. You can measure the amount of wire you'll need to achieve the target resistance by putting the leads at opposite ends of a piece of resistance wire, and moving one closer to the other along the conductor until you get where you wanna be.
