Just bought my first DCA off a user here on ECF (anodized black :D). I feel silly though because just after the purchase was made and the package sent, goodsense tells me they are back in stock. Doh!. I paid $30 total so if you think about it, it probably would have ended up costing me a little more. The DCA was brand new in package still stapled to the card. I've got some boge 306s lying around but I've heard ciscos are the way to go with these. What do you guys think?

I picked up some boge 306's but the top cover was too loose. I got almost 0 draw. If I lifted up the top piece a little bit it was better, but that's annoying. Lol I also for some reason was getting a burnt taste out of them. Even after dripping some straight pg on them and vaping it off a little. I'm using plenty of juice and I've never had that much of an issue with 510 attys before. I'm using standard resistance at about 5 volts. I tried dropping the voltage but got the same response. Am I missing something with 306's?

I think I'll buy some ciscos first. It seems like that's a general consensus.

Following the crowd can still get you lost.:)

The DCA is made to work with a specific 306 atty (the MAP).
You'll want to buy the expansion kit to fit many other 306s.
I typically pull the upper wick out from under the bridge of the 306 atty.
Quite often it will burn and cause the bad taste.
With the DCA you can add a lot of juice...which is necessary for the 306 to function properly anyway.

I bought the 306 dca at vape bash and felt so lucky to have the inventor of it show me how to use it. It was a game changer for me. I have the bottom piece and bought all three sizes of the top. The only trouble I have is boy those suckers get hot!! Lol

They didn't turn me into a full time dripper, but it alot easier to try out juices now before I waste a carto on a juice I won't like. I will bring mine to the meet too.

They gave me a 306 while I was there too, they said its what they sell, and what they recommend to use with them. U guys saying its a map?

I've been vaping this new cisco 510 with a drip shield on the provari, 3ohm@5v, it's pretty damn sweet.

Dripper convert? Probably. I found myself topping off my beloved 808 cartos so often to get a 'full' vape, I was nearly dripping anyway.

And the stardusts are the first clearos I've really liked, FWIW.
