hai guys! happy to be here!

i'm new in every way possible. i've been smoking marlboro reds for thirteen years and my mom decided to gift me a joye 510-t. i figure it won't hurt to quit smoking young, since i'm only 23. the thing is i really know nothing about any of this. i've been doing my research and it seems fairly simple to use, however i read that the tank doesn't seem to hold quite as much as i need as a pack a day smoker. i got 4 batts (2 auto, 2 manual) and 4 atomizers to start with, along with 10 reg 510-t tanks.

i was wondering if there were any mods for a bigger 510-t tank that's less apt to leak in the long run, and a handy pcc. i'm also looking for any advice in general since i'm a newb.

lastly, i'm curious as to how often i should change my tank and how long each part lasts on average so i know when to stock up. thanks for your help!

Welcome . Tanks last for different time for whomever is using them . Several hours for some people . All day long for others .Just depends on how much you vape . Another issue will be battery life . You will need to keepseveral of those , charged up to get through the whole day . I think your better bet would be to get a big battery P.V. and a bigger tank , or carto/tank . Or even a bottom feeder P>V. , such as a Reo "Grand" It's very durable , can use different batteries for different voltages ( more power ) and has a bottle in it , to hold the juice ( 6 Ml. ) that combination , might last you 2 days , before you need to change batteries , or add juice . It's not the cheapest P.V. out there , but will last forever , and holds a good re-sale value , if you decided to sell it . Good luck .

Hi rawrvapage and welcome to ECF. Cartos tanks will last a long time. Most clearomizers will last about 4 weeks before cleaning is needed. I use the Tanks - Mom and Pop Vapor Shop with a carto and the cartos lasts 2 weeks minimum. I like the Sub tank cuz with the side screw refilling is easy and not messy.

I think I should probably clarify what I mean by how long a tank lasts -- I meant how many times I could use one before throwing it out on average.

& Thanks for the warm welcomes guys!

thanks those look snazzy. when i start running out of the standard tanks i'll definitely give one of those a try. those look more like something i'd use lounging around the house instead of out and about.

i also saw these -- but idk if they'd be any good at all. anyone know?

They are to be used with atomizers. Here's someone that's having a sale on clearos but I don't know about shipping charges:
eGo Vision Star Dust SR or LR

No atomizer is needed with clearomizers. The clearomizers have a wick and element and no filler/ stuffing- you can see how much juice is left so very little chance of burning/ bad taste. To fill you unscrew the tip off, tilt the clearomizers, drip some juice in, put tip back on and vape. Usually enough juice for a few hours depending on the amount that is vaped. They are becoming very popular.

Those fit the 510-t atomizers? Just wanna make sure before I buy 'em. How's it work?

Well isn't that just fancy, lol. Would probably save me moneys in the long run too. Also, it'd be the SR and not the LR for the 510-t, right? You've been a great help btw.

Unfortunately my mom bought the kit as a gift before I could go into looking for things on my own. She just wants me to quit lol asap. However, I am gonna bookmark that in case I wanna upgrade after trying the 510-t out, which I probs will because of the battery life. I smoke too many analogs, probably at least two an hour; and maybe take about 7-10 drags with each one.

Standard resistance would be best. It's too bad I didn't know otherwise I could've directed you to buy this starter kit with 2 1100 mah batts and 4 clearomizers:
eGo Vision Stardust & Extreme Vision Custom Kit 1100mAh

100 mah= 1 hr normal vaping.
