It's all good as long as you're putting forth the effort. My only regret is that PVs were not around decades ago but, again, it's all good cuz I'm off the stinkies. If you ever do wish to upgrade feel free to pm me and we'll find you a great kit for a decent price. Cheers, my very best to you and go give your Mom a hug please...sounds like she really does care IMO.
Happy vaping.

Unfortunately my mom bought the kit as a gift before I could go into looking for things on my own. She just wants me to quit lol asap. However, I am gonna bookmark that in case I wanna upgrade after trying the 510-t out, which I probs will because of the battery life. I smoke too many analogs, probably at least two an hour; and maybe take about 7-10 drags with each one.

You've already made her proud and just the fact you're here asking questions is proof you are committed. Of course we can be friends. Stay in touch and happy vaping. I don't know your age and don't need to know but the few younger converts I've touched think vaping is cool...

She's been trying to get me to quit for a long long time, so i hope i make her proud! Lol! Thank you so much for your help, you're a doll. I added you as a contact if that's cool.

Yeah, I can see that I guess. I'm mainly concerned for my health. I've been smoking since I was eleven and if I keep going I know it probably won't end well. I think those stop smoking tv ads are finally getting to me since they've gotten a little more extreme with their tactics lol. I don't think I'm ready to give up the physical addictions so this might be the perfect way to stop with the cowboy killers. Maybe then I can convert my boyfriend, he's been giving me a hard time about the switch unfortunately. ;[

I volunteer/ counsel younger people with addiction problems and have found sometimes partners/ spouses/ boy/ girlfriends are afraid of changes in the life of their partner. Married to my non smoker wife for 32 yrs and I don't know, for the life of me, how she could cuddle with me smelling the way I did without complaint. My advice would be to realize you're doing this for yourself and to lead by example. One day when you're married and have children you will be ever so grateful for the change. I smoked for 44 yrs and am so very grateful I've manged to kick the stinkies to the curb. As for a support group which is very important you have your Mom and ECF. In the meantime here's the ECF Ladies Room where possibly you could discuss this issue as it's comes up more often than you think:
The Women's Room
Cheers.

Ah, thanks. That'll definitely help, he told me some of them looked like a crack pipe when I showed the more modified ecigs to him, haha. I pretend like it doesn't bother me, but in all actuality it kind of does. You're right, my health is more important. Unfortunately, since I was a young age I was always attracted to the smell of tobacco because I grew up with my dad/uncles as smokers around me.

I know what you mean. I come from a farming family where smoking was what men did. I no longer drink, take "that stuff" and have very little sense of taste or smell because of nasal issues soooo my one love, aside from my wife :D, was smoking. Once you've got the hang of vaping you can move up to DIY juices which really isn't that hard. My costs, including cartomizer, is prolly $2.00 per week.

lol that's the other thing, cigarettes in massachusetts are so expensive, but i probably shouldn't complain since i think it's twice as much for a pack in canada. my bf and i did the math and between the two of us we spend $600+ a month on smokes. it will be nice to have some extra cash finally.

I was buying reservation analogs and it was costing $12.00 per carton so $$ weren't really a consideration. Here's hoping maybe money will be the decisive factor in your bf being converted? Not right away but maybe....
Cheers and Good Luck.
Sales...some great sales come along once in a awhile. I bought 3 X 1100 mah starter kits last Christmas for $20 each. Gave them to friends as Christmas gifts. Regular price was $45. Healthcabin just had an amazing sale also.

lol he wants to buy cigs over the border because they're half the price so he's already trying to figure out a way to keep his analog habit. maybe he'll get jealous because i can smoke almost anywhere in mass with them and he hates having to go outdoors or wait until after work or during a lunch break to have them. here's to hoping!

LOLLLL the present motivator for me is the number of analogs not smoked...6,189 and I would've NEVER imagined the # to be that huge...guess I was too scared to really keep count.

yeah me neither until i decided to move out and get an apartment lol. cigarettes cost half my rent!

lol i just did rough math on how many cigarettes I HAVE smoked and it came out to 94.9k .. LMAO that is disgusting.

I never thought of it that way and thanks to you I just calculated how many I've smoked- 400,400K. Double Yuck and thanks for the idea re: motivation.

if you wanna get real down and dirty multiply that by like 4000 and that's about the chemical intake. i think everyone should take a moment to reflect on how many cigarettes they did smoke if they were smokers and just how many awful chems they were pumping into their lungs.

I agree in fact the analog companies should give out free calculators with every pack. I also believe all 4000 chems should be listed on the packaging.
