Haiku

I thought it might be fun to write some haiku today. (because I really don't feel like doing paperwork at the moment ) Then I realized how much more fun haiku can be in a group, so I started a thread! Feel free to throw in your own haiku, or several. What is the plural of haiku? Anyway...

For those who don't know, a haiku is a type of poem that originated in Japan. It's very simple. It needs a total of 17 syllables in 3 lines. 5, then 7, then 5.
