I don't know why I'm so stubborn when it comes to trying new juices. Maybe because at almost 3 years in I know what I like - or maybe because I've spent so much money on juices I hated I've just gotten cheap and play it safe I mean lets face it we all hate sucky juices and that whole "taste is subjective" or "no one's ever complained" vendor argument you get when your stuck with blueberry feet (try cleaning THAT out of an atty) instead of cheesecake but hey some people LIKE broccoli so go figure
On her last Halo order Jazz (my lovely wife) got me some menthol samples - Malibu - twisted java and I think Shamrock? Now I'm a die hard tobacco non sweet NO MENTHOL type person so I really didn't want to try them but after I tried and liked the Malibu I figured I'd give the twisted java a try I mean it is Christmas soon and St Nick is watching . Now I love drinking coffee but hate vaping it - they're all either burnt moss or sickly sweet syrup and coffee with peppermint? Are you freaking kidding me? But I got to admit I really like this juice the coffee flavor (which would stand wonderfully on its own HINT HINT HINT) reminds me of those little coffee candies your grandmother passed off as candy when you were a kid. You hated them then but you'd love to find them now the peppermint is light and mostly on the inhale - its sort of weird but seems to work to enhance the coffee taste on the exhale the exhale is excellent not too sweet strong coffee flavor
I know I'm starting to sound like a "fan boy" and maybe I am (I'm definitely on my way) but of all the Halo juices I've tried this is by far my favorite



Oh and if anyone knows where to find those little coffee candies - you know the ones that had a little line drawing of a coffee cup with steam lines coming off - please link me

Nice review Lox...and I hope Halo gets your hint, I too love that coffee flavor, but unfortunately I could do without the mint. I do like coffee vapes and have tried many - doesn't surprize me that Halo would find the "perfect" coffee flavor.

Sounds like I need to retry the twisted java sitting in my bedroom. I wasn't initially impressed even though I have loved most of the Halo juices I have tried. (Especially Malibu...and I didn't care for menthol before).

Nice review. I haven't had much luck with coffee flavors from any vendors that I've tried. I love drinking coffee with a touch of cream and sugar but the taste in a vape doesn't seem to translate. I never like drinking flavored coffee either. Just straight for me please But maybe I'd like a coffee vape with mint

Lox, my reaction to Halo's description of Twisted Java was even more violently negative than yours! But I put my complimentary 10ml sample of the stuff through the usual steeping process, tried it on a whim, and

ohmygoodness I LOVE this stuff!

I hate flavored coffees. I burned out on coffee vapes nearly a year ago. But Twisted Java is now on my standard 60ml reorder list! Go figure!

Since Eleanor likes it, and I still like coffee vapes, I've added it to my list of juices to try.

Can anyone describe what they think is the PG/VG ratio? Halo won't tell what ratio they use right? I just wonder if it's around 50/50 or what? I'd be curious to sample Twisted Java but would like to know approximately how much PG they use

I'd have to guess 80-20. I think most all their stuff is a high pg ratio just based on TH and consistency.

Great review. The Twisted Java is one of those juices that I have to say is a great juice. Unfortunatley for me, mint anything in coffee isn't my thing, this, the juice puts me off just as much as peppermint in my morning coffee. I'd recommend it to anyone that does like that sort of thing as the mint flavor is subtle but very good while the coffee flavor comes through nicely.

This juice was well done. I received a sample from Halo and I was really impressed. My boyfriend loved it so much that I gifted it to him, as he was just starting out vaping at the time and had very little in the way of juice. He loves strong coffee flavors and raved about it for days...what can I say, I'm a share and share alike kind of girl.

Twisted Java is sooooooooo good I gave up vaping it for Lent!!

(Fortunately, 3 new bottles are awaiting me on Easter morning. )

I love Mocha and a nice strong cup of black coffee is great, even with an add shot of espresso. I am not a big peppermint fan and have never been a menthol fan. That being said, this Vape is delicious. I would never have thought to mix coffee and peppermint! Good thing the juice mixologists at Halo thought to mix em up!
