Hey @Northstar6 - just pick any - nothing else BY FAR comes remotely close to the quality that Halo delivers.
I decided to mix things up a bit and try something different this time...went with Cryptic Blast from the Evo lineup - a mixed berry flavor. Should be in my mailbox shortly.

None of their stuff has been disappointing at all thus far.

Ya I got the 6-bottle sample pack which are 15ml each then later 30ml each of Prime and Tribeca. I never yet tried the dessert flavors coz they're low strength.

Just curious ~ do more people post a lot on this forum? I got some Halo G6 batteries with I think it's called "808 threading" and Halo Mini Tanks suck so I need good quality and long lasting 808 threading mini tanks to fit the G6 battery - I think they're also called clearomizers.

I'd suggest a battery adapter like this (might be able to find them cheaper with a search) 510 to 808 adapter
That will open up a lot more choices in tanks or atomizers as you'll be able to use 510 threaded ones which are much more common and easier to find.
BTW the G6 is a KR-808-D1 threading to precise. There are a couple different 808's. ;)

OK thanks. Are 510 threaded tanks better, and what's the best place to buy them?

The reason for sticking with 808 is coz I get overwhelmed with tons of choices of tanks, atomizers, etc, and I hear you have to replace 510 atomizers much more frequently than 808 ones, except the cheapo Halo mini-tanks.

... How I wish I could get Midnight Apple in a high VG.
@Oberon75, why not just add a tiny bit of your own VG? Sometimes it can even be better doing this coz you can almost double your eLiquid for the same price and the taste barely changes. PS >>> my go to is HALO and do this all the time

For a change of pace I switched things up and checked out the Evo flavors. This time around I tried Cryptic Blast, which is a mixed berry flavor.

My initial thoughts are this one is OK. There isn't one particular berry flavor that stands out to me, rather a mix of fruit flavors. However it's more of a darker, tart, semi-sweet affair. It's definitely a more complex taste, but still fairly smooth.

Though, I'm not entirely sure if I like the tart aspect of it. It's not necessarily bad, just a different take on a fruit e-juice from what I've sampled before. I'll likely let it steep for a week or two and see if anything changes.

Who mentioned they want tobacco flavors?? Although Halo is my #1 go to brand, if you like unique & interesting tobacco flavours there's another brand called Gentlemen's Reserve who's been around for a decade, the quality is pretty good, stays fresh in the bottle for years, and pretty cheap coz prices are in CDN $. I just ordered Rugged Blend and Prairie Blend. PS >>> let us know how it goes if you try this!

When I seen gentleman's reserve I was thinking of the juice " the gentlemans reserve" by steam co. Years ago when I liked castle long reserve, I tried the gentlemans reserve as it was kind of close....anyways I might just give some of those tobacco's from the site, gentlemans reserve a go....

Ya, there's two Gentlemen's Reserve. I posted the brand. I think the one you're referencing is a flavor of a different brand.

These are currently in my Shopping Cart ~ Devlin Smooth Caramel and TIMBER Nutty Tobacco.

Have you tried these ~ comments?? Thanks!!
I haven't tried Devlin, but I'm curious about it. It sounds like it may be similar to Tribeca perhaps.

Now, Timber I have tried and absolutely love that one. Probably one of my favorites for sure. Nice, mellow, roasted and nutty tobacco flavor. Very smooth and easily an all day flavor, IMO.

Whisper just arrived for me yesterday and it honestly tastes just like Tribeca to me. Granted, I haven't had Tribeca in several months but it seemed about the same to me. I'd love to try them side by side and see if there is any difference but if anything, Whisper is just a slightly milder version.

I also stocked up again on Torque 56 to give it another shot. I bought it last time in 20 mg nic salts and it was too mellow for me. I typically bring something with nic salts with me during the work week to get a quick fix during short breaks, but 20 mg didn't do much for me, so I picked up 50 mg this time.

I like Torque but it doesn't really shine as a smooth flavor for me. It needs a little harshness to it, IMO. Hopefully this does the trick. I'll probably have to grab a bottle of freebase too, for at home.

If you like Tribeca, I don't think you'll be disappointed with Whisper. Maybe a tad milder, but seemed very much to be the same flavor.

I think Timber is definitely worth a try too. I wasn't sure initially if I'd even like it. I'm not really a big fan of "nutty" flavors but this worked quite well with tobacco.

I'm thinking I might try Turkish Tobacco or even Evo Purple Tundra next.

Halo Turkish Tobacco is a legendary classic that's been around since 2011 (I THINK). Saw your post, found a new bottle in the freezer, and fired it up so y'all can thank me later. I first tried it in 2013 and my sentiments stay intact. Note that this is only my opinion which will certainly differ from Turkish Tobacco's huge fan base which makes it a major player in the Halo Premier lineup so no haterzzz plz.

Anyway, again IMO, Turkish Tobacco is definitely not "subdued" or mild, has a very interesting & bold taste, but NOT necessarily the Western tobacco taste that we're familiar with ~ it's definitely more so a "Turkish" tobacco taste (maybe you might think with a hint of cloves).

Out of the entire Halo Blue Series lineup, Turkish Tobacco FOR ME is the ONLY Halo eLiquid that has a bit of a TINY/MILD chemically taste (again this is probably just moi), but I think this is by design to extract & produce the Turkish flavor.

Those who have NEVER tried HALO before in general, nor Turkish Tobacco, might like to first go with smaller bottles coz IMO it's an acquired taste, but if you like it, it can get very addictive. I always have *some* hangin around!!:2cool: (But not as an all day vape).
