I recently received an Hcigar Hammer that I won a few weeks ago.
I gotta say, this is a nice little mech. Very modular and unique. It's definitely more versatile than the mere 18350 "pipe" mech I dismissed it to be.
I don't really notice any voltage drop. Now while I'm sure it's not hitting like a Stingray, it's certainly good enough... I can pop on a Nimbus and lung bust with gusto, no problemo.
It's just a great mod for home. It's sturdy and heavy, and easy to pick up and plop back down. I'm really loving the way I can palm it and fire with my middle finger resting over the large button. That's so much better than any bottom fire or side fire mech I've used.
I would have never purchased this mod on my own volition. I only use regular mechs when I'm at home tasting or treating myself to a flavor for a bit; otherwise I'm 100% Reo, all day every day. I'm super happy to have had one plop into my lap for free, and even happier that this particular one I received isn't suffering from any of the issues the others can have. (lucky me

)
I don't want to get into any clone arguments here, but considering the $250 price tag of the original, and the fact that I'm staring at this gorgeous 316 SS clone that retails for around $60... I dunno guys... something stinks.
It's kind of sad, because I'm appreciating this mod so much that I feel compelled to seek out the original in order to give the designer some love, but alas; no f'ing way for $250. And there you have it... sigh...
Cheers
