Here's a Hammer/Kayfiun Lite+ clone kit that I recently ordered. The build quality on both is great. The kayfun clone is a bit different from my authentic kayfun Lite+ in that the airflow adjustment is an allen head screw and extends a bit further than I'd like for a more airy draw. Without thoroughly cleaning it, I did get a bit of a metallic taste from it but once cleaned, it was great. $75 for this kit is a great deal in my book.

THat metallic taste is machine oil from manufacturing.
It hides in the air holes.
Wash all atomizers thoroughly before use.

I dropped my KFL's coil to 1.0 and removed the airflow screw altogether.
Super vape, huge clouds, intense flavor, no whistling.

My real one doesn't whistle at all. My clone on the other hand did until just now when I took your advice and removed the air flow control screw. Thanks a ton for that advice. I can't/won't drop mine to 1.0Ω though because I have it on a regulated device. I am at 1.5Ω and run around 11-12 watts.

which manufacturer makes your hammer?

I have the tobeco version... I noticed inside the switch housing, where the brass pin rides was kinda rough, so i went ahead and filed it down a little. I also put in some magnets in replace of the spring, feels smoother/lighter now, just gonna keep an eye on it..

which magnets did you get?

i too have the tobeco version. ive been thinking about magnetizing my switch just for fun. i honestly really like the switch on mine as is, but maybe id like magnets too. right now it is smooth and buttery as hell.

my buddy came by with his hcigar hammer and the switch is feather light. im glad mines not like that. i do however like his batt tube better. mine looks a dull bronze-ish color while his is a shiner, more silver-y tube. minor niggles i guess.

I got my magnets from fat daddy vapes... I barely used my spring, but if I was testing both blind, I wouldn't be able to tell you which was the magnetic switch. I just threw the spring in the box incase I broke my magnets. I might order two more sets, so I have a back up set, and another one to add to assembly. I don't feel comfortable putting it in my pocket.

Does your tobeco version not have the engraving around 510 contact? I remembered seeing a picture of yours without it.

So far I'm very happy with my magnets which I got from FatDaddyVapes.com. I would order a set if you like the feather feel. The switch is so light that it fires if it's placed in my pocket unlocked lol...

^just broke a magnet. Dog jumped on bed..it bounced on to something and fractured, broke in half shortly after.

I was trying to unscrew lock ring, but can't get it... I'm guessing from your post that it does lock, but ring's on there tight if it does...

Edit, just popped spring back in... wow. I thought I remembered it being the same feel as two magnets...crunchy as hell. I guess it works out..I wanted to get another magnet, but only sold in pairs..3 would be perfect for me. I think. Any other place other than fat daddy vapes for magnets?

I'm sure there's other places you can get magnets, but your more than likely gonna have to size them up. Its easier to just get them through FD, they ship fast too..

^did you have an issue unscrewing lock ring? I can't get mine loose.. always thought that was just cosmetic.

Zero issues.. Only gripe I have is that there are times when I want to unlock the hammer, the whole switch assembly unscrews. So to avoid that, I try my best to not lock or unlock the ring too tight.
