Hi Gang:
So far my favorite e-cigs are as follows: Njoy, Smart Fixx, Sedansa, and Janty Classic KISS Box. However, as many of you know from my posts in the past, my biggest complaint has been with the wimpy batteries that come with ALL manufacturers' brands, some worse than others.
Well, I haven't tried to return any of my batteries to any of these guys because I felt their failure was due to the "end of life" issues, meaning they aren't expected to last forever and that there were no material defects which warranted my even trying to return these batteries.
Guess what!!! I spoke with both Jims from Smart Fixx and Njoy, and they are both willing to exchange each and every one of my batteries and/or atomizers for up to one year. I am soooooooooooo happy. Jim of Njoy asked me how many dead batteries I have and what color. I told him 16 batteries and all are white. He told me that HAPPY CUSTOMERS are very important to the Njoy Team, and they want to make me happy. Jim has put them in the mail for me and is including a postage-paid self-addressed envelope for me to return the so-called defective ones. Jim of Smart Fixx said that he will do the same for all of us if we have problems with his batteries and/or atomizers for up to one year as well!!! That's what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Now, as for the new Sedansa long-life batteries, they suck! Sedansa is still one of my favorites only because I like the way they "smoke" and I like the customer service, plus they have a five-year warranty. Can't complain about that. The "long-life" batteries are weak, do not hold a charge, do not last eight hours, and some didn't even charge at all straight from the box. I had ordered eight of them. Well, most of those are going back to Sedansa. I haven't even had them a month. I prefer the "old" batteries to these long-life ones. I haven't contacted customer service at Sedansa yet, so we'll see how well they handle my battery situation. I'm hoping it will be in a positive way.
Now, the KISS Boxes. Wow!!! I bought two auto switches and two manual switches and four atomizers. I loved them all, and the ones with the manual switches were my favorite until they both eventually quit on me. And one of my atomizers wants to stay stuck on "ON" -- has a mind of its own and gets super-duper sizzling hot, where I have to disengage it from the battery so it'll quit sizzling. I am still using two of the atomizers, though, with my auto switches. I really like the way they smoke, but I get a stronger hit with the manual switches. The customer service is fantastic as well. As soon as I told Harry about my manual switches and the atomizer, he said he'd send me the new-and-improved switches and a new atomizer. They were sent out on the 20th, so I should be getting them this week, hopefully.
So even though e-cigs have their inherent problems, I still continue to enjoy them and will do so as long as I have good customer service behind them, which so far so good!!! I haven't had a whole real cigarette in several months, and I feel so much better. I'm sure I smell better too. I know my house does. And I love being able to smoke in the office without the constant interruptions in order to have a smoke break outside the building.
Has anyone else been having similar problems? And if so, how do you find customer service for your particular make/model? Or am I the only one that tends to be "too hard" or "rough" with my "stuff"?
PS: I just received my Janty and Njoy packages in today's mail!!!!
