Oh man! Having to deal with this with no insurance on top, bummer :( Let her know she has a lot of positive energy flowing her way!

My cold has turned into a sinus infection so I'm still feeling loopy and zapped of energy, but I'm grateful that it's not any worse. It'll run it's course in a few more days and I'll be back to my normal .....y self ;)

I'm sorry your daughter is still not well, but at least you are. There is nothing worse then trying to take care of a sick child when you are sick as well. I am sure that makes it better for both you. Like Bov, I am sending warm healing thoughts her way!

Bov, hurry up and get better, I miss your normal .....y self. LOL j/k I hope you feel better soon too.

As for me, I feel fine, but I went out with the family for an early birthday dinner. It was wonderful, even my 14 year old daughter was pleasant and that is saying a bunch (she isn't feeling that well herself, but doesn't need that excuse to be .....y, she does a fine job of it when she is 100% healthy) Any how every one was pleasant and we had some really nice quality family time. But the food was SO good and I ate to much and now I feel like I am going to die. You know what it is like when everything is so good and you wish you had stopped at the appetizer.

I don't know where you could possibly fit all that food in that 5' frame.

Less then 5' and I have no clue how I did it, but I am paying for it now. And you don't even know the half of it. Usually when we go out for Sushi we just order some rolls and skip all the other stuff. I guess we were feeling like celebrating this evening because we ordered appetizers, sea weed salad, soup, a bunch of rolls and then I did something I NEVER do I ordered dessert. We got Green Tea Ice cream for everyone to share (which was really good) some kind of chocolate cake thing, which I did not touch as I do not do chocolate, but the other seemed to enjoy it. But the icing on the cake for the evening was the cheese cake. Now cheese cake alone is filling enough, but this cheese cake was actually cheese cake rolls. It was tempura fried and OMG it was awesome. And because everyone was enjoying the chocolate cake, I got more then my share of the cheese cake!

Of course I don't know if I will be able to stand up before Monday and if I do need to go someone they might just need to roll me there! I'm feeling a little less stuffed now, so it feels like it was worth it again. But that was a first and the last for me.

Did you ever see the original willy wonka and the chocolate factory. And Violet Beauregarde eats the bubble gum, turns violet and the inflates like a balloon and they oompa loompa's have to roll her away... That is exactly what I feel like!

And I might need the oompa loompas to roll me to bed!

Happy Birthday Moo!! You deserved that awesome dinner and you deserve to lay around (or roll around) all day and night!!

Yup, I am rolling around today! And it was a wonderful meal well worth it!

Happy Birthday Moo!!! We missed it???? Dang!

You didn't miss it, it's today. But last night I went out to celebrate with the husband and kids. Felt like spending some quality time with them, so I took the day off and spent the day with them and ended it with a wonderful dinner. We couldn't do it today because every year Mom has a birthday dinner for me, so I decided what the heck, I would just celebrate for two days!

Yay, Moo! The forties are fun :)

Well, I've been doing the 40's for a few years now, my memory isn't what it used to be, but IMHO if memory serves correct it was the 20's that were fun, but really that entire decade is a blur! However, these past few years have brought much to the table. I am far more comfortable in my own skin if that makes any sense at all! I am at an age where I feel more free to be me and explore what being me is all about. I don't care as much what other people think and I think my sense of humor has improved with age as well, not necessarily saying I am more funny, but more I appreciate better humor! For that matter I appreciate most things more now then I did then. I also find it is much easier now to to enjoy peaceful moments and take my time getting things done, in general I am in less of a rush to get to the finish line!

And all of these things become more apparent while watching my 14 year old daughter act so much like I did at 14.

It is likely that none of that made any sense!

I'm soon to be 37 (2 months), so not by that much.

LOL, your still 2 years younger then the hubby. I guess it was all the cougar talk way back when that had me thinking you were in your early 30's! I think my worst year was turning 39. I couldn't help but to think there was nothing ahead of me but my 40's. Your getting close!
