Lol!! I tried the mini tanks three months ago for almost two weeks and I don't know why it didn't do it for me. The only thing I can think of is I got the most horrific burnt draw one time. Jefsview had to literally "walk me off the cliff" cuz I nearly gave up vaping altogether and thought about buying a pack of analogs.

Maybe it's a mental thing or maybe because I draw too hard sometimes but I always got a slight burnt taste w/them. I still have around 6 new, in the package ones. Maybe I need to try again because it has been three months since I tried them.

I .. have done so many things wrong :)

And one of the things I did, I don't even know what it was that I did wrong, but the first time I used a mini-tank (hmm..3 weeks ago?), I could hardly get a draw and when I did everything was burned and horrible and I was very unhappy. Then, a few days ago I decided to stop dragging my feet and give one of the tobacco flavors from the sample pack a try. I was reluctant to 'waste' SO much by using one of the 2.4 tanks, that I gave a mini a whirl again.

Love love love love love. I can't stop using it, even on the Triton battery (love the G6 for driving and at work).

Something about the mini is just .. awesome. Such a strong sensation of that warm flavorful mist from the pull. I'm having trouble, a lot of trouble, putting the damn thing down.

Anyway, for the Veteran's Day bonanza one of the juices I bought is the Tiki. Sight unseen, going solely from the reviews on the Halo site itself, I assume I will enjoy it. Hope so. Bought a 30ml bottle :p So I'm pretty curious about what people think of it.

Be sure and come back and let us know what you think of Tiki. I was reading the review on that flavor and it sounds good. I've decided to give the minis a try again this weekend. What you described is exactly what was happening to me. I don't like real airy draws but t.he mini was such a tight draw it was crazy.

And constant slight burnt taste. So I gave up especially since I loved the Triton reg tanks. But thx for the info cuz it does motivated me to try them again.

Oh dear, comparing Tiki to the Turkish is not appealing. I have trouble with Turkish, something in it.. something so very perfumey..made me simply recoil. Though I'm willing to try it again after steeping it properly.

(Properly, as opposed to popping off the child proof cap only from the 7mL bottles, and wondering, as another person here did recently, how enough air could get through that itty bitty hole in the attached drop tip to steep the juice, only to discover, in that very thread, that you're supposed to pop that cap off too)

Anyway.
I like both Tootsie Rolls and black licorice.
(and bananas and rum and cake batter and cinnamon and mint and vanilla <-- some of the other flavors people described on Halo's site)

I think I misspoke/typed...it's like Turkish in that it has a spice to it but in a way that black liquorish has that bite. Turkish (which I really like too) is kind of a clove spice but tastes more like tobacco. If you like Tootsie Rolls and black liquorish then I suggest getting a 7ml bottle and giving it a try.

Hey guys,

OK so I've been sitting here checking out HX3 and Captain Jack and (for what it's worth) here is my opinion.

First off my setup is 25 drops out of fresh (obviously), shaken bottles...put in 2 never used carts, and using my Triton VV (3.8 volts seemed to be the sweet spot for both).

Both flavors are most definitely from the tobacco line as it's the dominant flavor in each and very smooth (similar to Torque56).

HX3 has a touch (or kiss) of mint and fruit but I can't quite figure out what fruit because it's so subtle (definitely not pineapple though). It's good but it's not anything like Malibu as far as a mentholly, pineapple, vape. I don't get menthol but a slight minty taste.

Captain Jack actually is like a sweet tobacco flavor with a slight hint of spice (very slight). It reminded me of sweeter cousin of Torque56.

If you're into tobacco flavors then I think you'd probably really like these cos they're very close to a Marlboro Red with subtle twists.

They'll now go into steep mode with the rest to be revisited later.

OK so I'm no jefsview but hey, I'm an IT guy for god sakes. Anyway, that's my story and I'm stickin to it :)

THANK YOU ALL FOR COMING AND GOODNIGHT :headbang:

Good summary. Looking forward to trying them out now that I know HX3 is more of a fruit/mint and not fruit/menthol. Thanks for taking the bullet for me :)

And Captain Jack sounds up my alley as well. Just have no cash until after the zombie apocalypse. But those are on my "to try" list for the future.

Thanks for taking the time to share your impressions. And that's what all of these "reviews" are: impressions. Because our physiology changes as much as the juice can steep, and once we once love or tasted at the beginning of our journey alters, morphs and we find or discover new things lost to once diseased senses.
