After a month on two other PVs, I found my favorite...the VK!:thumb: The best part, I no longer even want to smoke an analog(the wife loves that!!)...been 5 days now (I'm amazed after 16yrs w/o skipping a day!). Plus, it feels like Christmas ever time I get my orders from V4L:D...thanks Steve!!

Quick question for anyone, is the USB pass-thru (manual) normally very hard to draw on? I looked around a bit on the forums and found no complaints. Mine is VERY hard...even when I unscrew the carto till it barely make contact to heat it. This has been the same on all other cartos I have. BTW, the two auto bats are perfect and smooth.

I noticed on the auto bats, there are deep notches in the center, with two holes under the threads, alowing for good air flow. The pass-thru has three small holes under the threads, with NO notch/slot in the center (positive contact). Should there be a notch there??

Thanks, in advance...

No, no notch on the manual batteries. I have heard that sometimes the little holes on the manuals aren't drilled all the way through or get glue or something in them. You might take a pin and see if you can clear the air way that way, and if all else fails, let Steve know. Those pass throughs are BEASTS and you should be in vaping heaven with them! If you aren't, there is something wrong so let Steve fix it for you!

Thanks for the tip...I used a thumb tack and twisted it around the three tiny holes under the threads to open them up a bit, then cleaned the little bits of metal out w/ an old tooth brush...

Whooee...lots of vaper now!! Makes my (un-moded)510 not the winner anymore! Much, much better.

I have to say the batteries just suck.

I ordered 2 new pass through, one was DOA, they sent me 2 new ones.
One of those is hardly working.

I have a few regular batteries, one is a manual, only a few weeks old.
It's already on it's last leggs, hardly no vapor what so ever.

The other (almost new) batts need to be recharged in no time what so ever.

I'm very frustrated and hate to complain to Mark again.

What to do?????

I guess I have been extremely lucky, I have yet to have anything go bad on me. Got a bum carto once, and one of my manuals has a tricky button, but when you consider how many I have bought, and given out as gifts, it is amazing. Sorry to hear you haven't been as lucky, but I would talk to Mark or Steve. Maybe given your track record they can test the batts for you before sending them out. Hoping next time is luckier for you! ;)
