Although I've got no experience w/ xl cartos, that lifespan seems to be a bit short. Have you tried blowing them out or cleaning them? Possibly some juice gumming things up in there. Also need a bit more info. Do you happen to know what PG/VG ratio you are vaping? Sometimes higher VG juices and dark juices tend to wear on a cartomizer faster than high PG/lighter juices.

Thats relatively normal depending on the juice- LR's seem to wear out faster. On a thin non tobacco juice I get five days max.On a house extracted tobacco brew i am currently on I get 2 days. I tried an Isopryl ALcohol cleaning method two days ago on about 25 spent ones. They look much cleaner- will report back if I can get any true use out of them.

It's a 40vg/60pg fruit mix. I can't really go any higher on the pg without choking on it. Haven't tried cleaning. I have done some blow out and that helps for a short period of time. The juice is clear. I gently put a paper clip through each end of the hole a ver gently wiggled it and that helps a little (not much) for about half an hour. I have also been rotating them every couple of hours, so that three days wasn't sing only the one. It has happened with 2 now, both different juices. Anything that anyone knows would help is greatly appreciated!

Mine have been a little bit hit and miss. I got 9 days out of one, all I had through it was Boba's Bounty, I got 2 days out of another with the same juice. I'm over cleaning cartos, to much effort for very mixed results. If I can average 3 days out of my cartos, that costs me about $200 per year, which is a cost I'm comfortable with.

I'm using 60/ 40 PG/ VG on SmokTech Mega DC 1.5 and I get about 1 1/2 weeks- the Rez's are SmokTechs. How are you filling them and how much are you putting in?

I do my first fill with a syringe down the side in various spots. Usually just under 1.5ml for the first fill. Then I add a few drops down the side straight from the bottle every 3 hours or so. If I can see juice standing in it after 5 minutes I blow it out and use my syringe to suck anything that has leaked into the center. I really hate the idea do trying to clean these things, but we're talking 2 every 3 days at 1.25 each. Ouch!

Try placing a round toothpick in the center air passage and filling slowly until the filler is "slushie". I think some of your juice is getting into the air passage and causing problems. You may be also damaging the air passage with the syringe also. It's very fragile and once damaged it's game over IMHO.

I suspected that a little. They seem to make a sudden change from great to crap directly after a top off.

That indicates that the airway is collapsing. Try the toothpick and see if it works. I use a paperclip. Unfortunately that is China's QC again. Once you start having problems with the airway, they are pretty much done.

Make sure you fill them fully. The Ressurectors hold alittle over 2ml so if your only putting 1.5ml it could prob use alittle more. I get on avg 2-4 weeks from one Ressurector. I use a syringe to fill them and never let them get too low. If your using any juices that contain flavor sediments, they likely will shorten the life of a carto. I use one juice that does contain sediments and it def clogs up a Ressurector quicker than my other juices. With that juice every time I refill I take a straightened out paperclip, and very gently basically bore out the air tube. If its done frequently it really helps keep the airhole from becoming clogged faster

I'm vaping a 60%VG juice and get around 25-30ml before I change them out...like Rob sez, these cartos will hold 2ml+ and the first fill is most important...sometimes I syringe fill sometime I drip 50-60drops down the inside of the barrel or until slushy looking...I top up with 20 rSo drops every couple of hours...8 outta 10 perform great, the other 2 would be just so-so...I think someone else mentioned Chinese QC issues................

i hate when that happens. for some reason the 1.7 always have problems. but i have yet to experience that with the smoktech 1.5 or 2.0 ohm ones?!?
i always just keep a little stash of distilled water in the kitchen for thinning juice or reducing nic flavor to get more of the e-liquid's flavor.

proper filling of cartomizer is important..using a condom and syringe method i find filling a carto is a doodle..blocked the carto's thread end with a condom..insert yr needle/syringe half way up the carto at an angle (30-45 degree) and inject yr e-liquid,watching for tell tale sign of liquid breaking the top of the filling..then rotate a third turn of the carto and do the same and 1 more to complete the filling(since we do not know how much is left of the carto to be filled we have to observe as the liquid soak to the brim..do not overfilled as this is just wastage and if U do still ok..as the next step is to clicked-in yr drip-tip to the carto be4 removing the condom(pressure will force out yr liquid onto yr hand if U prematurely removed yr condom)..then only the blow-off on yr drip tip to removed surplus e-liquid from the carto with a tissue to catch the spray..look through yr carto to see a tunnel through yr carto..if there is no-light at the end of the carto's tunnel..repeat & blow until u see one(if the tunnel is blocked by e-liquid U will have a hard draw and hardly any vapor..so important to see a tunnel cleared of liquid(U get to see that by seeing through the drip tip against a bright source of light( can be yr bulb light or the sky if it is bright enough to show up)..all done and ready to vape cloud of vapor..i periodically q-tipped my drip tip as U vape moist built up and clogged the vapor and sometimes small droplet form and U get to taste yr e-liquid(not nice)..so do pass through a q-tip inserted into yr drip tip from time to time..happy vapping every1..regards mafig
