I refilled last night for the first time. I took the top and gasket of a cart, rinsed for a while with warm water, put the end of a paper towel in to wick water out (without pushing into the batting), and used a hair dryer to evaporate the rest of the water. After letting the cart sit for an hour or so I put 15 drops in, put the gasket and cap back on, and let it sit standing on the battery end for a couple of hours without the condoms on. I tried to vape it and, nothing. I heard the normal crackly sounds but got nothing from the cart. The draw wasn't hard or anything, I just got nothing out of it. I rinsed it because I was changing flavors. Am I missing something?

It could be that the juice isn't wicking so it isn't getting vaporized. This could be cause by the juice not fully saturating the fluff.

It could also be that the atty is flooded and isn't heating properly.

Check the cart again and see if it looks dry. If it does try adding a couple of more drops. If it looks too wet then just vape on it awhile. It will start to dry out and start working properly.

YMMV,

Andy

I guess I wasn't clear. I refill from the top, but put the plug in to prevent leakage, then I remove the plug and blow from the battery end to clear any liquid that might've leaked into the hole.

woops..How did I miss that?? Sorry. Using the plug to prevent leakage while dripping is

The reply you got for this post is a good shot at getting it to work again. To be on the safe side, I never rinse. When using a different flavor, I go back to my older unit..the DSE901.

What you should try also is to use a long but thin object like a pin, toothpick etc, shove it between the fiber and the inner part of the cartomizer shell and lean the fiber and wire over a bit in the hopes that this would make a better connection. Pouring the water in may have caused it to move around a bit breaking the connection. The sounds that you hear may be just air flowing though the already saturated fiber material. This has happened to me once (cartomizer not heating up) and it worked. If that does not work, throw it away. It's dead.

BTW....GO YANKEES!!!!!!!
