I switched from a kanger evod to a kanger protank2 recently.

Ever since the switch, I've been having a hard time breathing. I've also switched liquids from plain tobacco flavor to ry4.

It feels like I've been smoking 2 packs a day or something, I just cant get a deep breath. I'll stop the e-cig, and i'm fine, but the minute i take a puff from the ecig, my lungs get tight and my heart rate soars.

Thoughts?

sounds like a sensitivity to something in the new juice,,,,,,

do you know what the percentage of PG/VG/Flavor is in it?

My daughter has awful sensitivity to koolada and has an asthma attack every time,,,,,,,others have sensitivities to PG and can only handle small amounts (or none) of that,,,,,,,

I'm not sure what the pg/vg unfortunately, it doesnt say. I got it from a local store, i believe they hand make all their juices.

From what I gather, ry4 is a plain tobacco with light vanilla and caramel flavoring. I've had no sensitives or allergies to anything before, which is why its all so boggling.

Are you inhaling to the lungs? If not it seems like an allergy, if so then it might be a combination of the Protank airy draw and teh juice itself.

I will say that I cough way more vaping than I did while smoking, but never to the point I felt like I couldn't breathe. I'd stop using that juice regardless, then the Protank if it still makes you feel that way.

I hope you get it figured out. I suffer from severe COPD and if I use a high ratio of VG, I get a really bad heavy lung feeling. Everything I order online is all 70PG/30VG. I can tolerate 60PG/40VG but not very much of it.
Just remember that everyone is different. Try some different ratio's of juice and see if it helps. Good luck!!!!!!!!

I had a similar issue when I came back to vaping. For me it was a combination of two things mainly:

- I found that when taking big hits I wouldn't inhale extra air after the hit like with analogs because the vapor is much easier on the lungs, which made my lungs feel "heavy" after the hit.

- I was vaping at a way higher wattage than my body likes. Had to tone it down ~1.5W. Might be a bit more difficult if you don't use a VV/VW mod, but worth a shot.

Hope you figure out whatever your specific problem is! I know for me analogs are just simply not an option anymore. Yuck!

Hi

I'm hearing a lot going on here that needs sorting out.

You are having symptoms. In one post you describing a racing heart issue. That is a common panic attack symptom - that could be triggered by any discomfort in the lungs or any other physical sensation. Or an elevated heart rate could be an indicator of too much nicotine as well.

It's highly unlikely that the change in hardware is the source of the problem. But in order to start ruling in/out you need to find out the basics of those two liquids: Their PG/VG ratio and the nicotine level. No one has even asked yet if you know if the two liquids have the same nic level or not. In order to fix this we can't be second guessing these key factors in the liquids you are using.

I agree with Rickajho, it will probably take a little detective work to figure out whats going on. If the pg/vg ratio and nicotine levels of the two juices are the same, then it very well could be the flavorings used. I cannot vape anything with hazelnut flavoring and I'm not allergic to hazelnuts. I personally wouldn't vape the new juice...at least for now and it's always good to drink plenty of water.
