So basically I'm getting some harshness when I vape that I'm not to keen on. It seems to happen on some puffs more than others. I'm using a generic ego batteries with vision clearomisers atm. Though I'm going to get an ego twist soon, and a gripper vv maybe. Mostly 70/30 juice at 12mg nic content. I've tried more vg too but that seems to give me a heavy chest feeling a bit, although that may have been from the higher nic content of that juice (not sure really)

I'm drinking more fluid as this harshness is giving me a bit of a sore throat. Its just rough and unpleasant. Sometimes I get a burned style hit when the clearomiser is not full, (which is foul). But the general roughness is different to that.

Any suggestions for a smoother vape? different cartomisers, atomisers, juice, voltage? anything that people have found that gives a smoother pleasant experience with less scratchy throat, roughness and hotness.

All ideas appreciated, thanks

I also didn't like the harshness when I first started. I started with 70/30 PG/VG and 24mg, 3 months later I am at 6mg and at least 50/50 PG/VG and sometimes 20/80. I haven't had any issues with the Vivi Nova, although I can't chain vape for more than a few minutes. The wicks don't take up the higher VG juice as quickly.

One other possibility is that your Vision clearomizers might be low resistance and you may want to change to standard resistance. The Vivi Nova is great for this purpose, since it comes with 3 heads of different resistance and the heads are super easy to switch out.

Things that will give a TH or harshness. Some juice has something added to it to give that, nicotine and running the voltage too high. IMO having a build up on the coils will add harshness and/or a burnt taste and feel. So if you run low nicotine and keep the voltage at a reasonable level (depends on the atty type and ohms rating). When my clearos get near the bottom of the tank I get a bit more of that TH. For me I have not found the PG/VG changes that much for me. I've run high VG 50/50 and all sorts of diff levels. May be subjective. For me Nicotine and wattage seems to make the most diff. I don't order juice with the TH stuff added.
